Non spoiler thoughts on the book.
Well firstly, I just want to take a moment to slowly clap for all the “bright” ones who are giving away the ending of the trilogy in their titles/reviews and the ones who are rating the book without even having read it. Both such reviews need to be taken down; they are ignorant and demeaning to the readers and to the author. (Please)Coming to the book now:It's a good ending. An ending worth buying the book for. I have never prebooked any book, and I was glad to have done so when I finished the book, so that should say something!I liked how this book, unlike the 2nd book of the series, had far, FAR less typos.I loved the pace of things. Usually as a story draws to an end it feels like a drag, that was not the case here.I still found the cover art to be not as exciting as the one of book 2 and I mean the red color based one, not the blue one (thats subjective i know, but its my suggestion for future books).I wish it would have had more touching moments, like the end was, one where I would have felt a bit more ensconced. All in all, I would highly recommend the series.

The Adharm dies. And the Dharm cries for him.
For me, it's almost impossible to not spoil the story. Full of Up's and Down's in the story. And it's really too early to post the review. Full of Emotions. But I've tried my best. This Book is Awesome in almost every possible way. The Immense, Depth, Powerful and Brilliant imagination of the Author must get an Appreciation from all the Mythology Genre Lover.I completed the whole book in Just 6 hours. So, you can predict how gripping the story plot is.From the first book to the third one in the Series, Kevin's Storytelling Skill have reached new level, and that can be observed easily. Man... His Vocabulary is just less than Shashi Tharoor And Amish Tripathi...😅Even being so young, Kevin have raised the bar for every Mythological Storyteller. The Journey of The Reader will be Full of Anger and Emotions (like Love, Friendship and Bromance). The Endless Battle, the death, the friendship and love, the hatred all comes at appropriate positions in the story. Nothing much more than required.Even there are some loopholes in the story, but they can be ignored. As Kevin says, he really is die hard fan of ‘Game of Thrones’ series. HAHA...I actually guessed the ending in Midway of the book, but was Satisfied with the ending. I had to be. It had to be that. I hated and loved the ending simultaneously. Kevin really did the justice to the story. If you're a reader, doesn't matter whichever genre is your favorite, you should really go for the series...I hope after reading this review, Kevin Bhai will send me personal signed copy of this book.Hoping for the more exploration in ‘Kevin's Universe of Madness’.

A great Conclusion
Was waiting for this book since a long time, after reading the first two books of the series, I was really excited to know how this story will end. And, the different twists that keep coming in the story really keeps the reader's interest intact... "Manasa" character was my favourite in the story... The war strategies that she adopts and the way she fights is amazing.. The last confrontation between "Dharma" and "Adharma" is equally amazing...It was a great fantasy series that comes to an end with this book, and I have totally loved the journey of Kalki, Kali, Arjan...I enjoyed my time reading this book...

One of the Best Indian Mytho-Fantasy Fiction series
If you have read Kevin's earlier novels then there is no need to give an introduction to this book. Mahayodhya Kalki: Sword of Shiva is the final book of the Kalki trilogy written by Kevin Missal. I have been an ardent fan of the series from the time when I read the first book. I was really eager & excited about this final one for a long time & now finally my waiting ended. I have completed the series. This is the beginning of the end. Kalki Hari arrives at Indragarh to find out that his brother has been taken prisoner, his beloved is about to be butchered & the City is embroiled in a ghastly war with the Naga queen & Dakshini king. Armed with a mighty sword forged by a God, he fights to take the city back from his nemesis, the evil Kali. But the avatar of Vishnu is at a crossroads. It is his destiny to fight the last battle with Adharm & obliterate evil from this world. However, he has stumbled upon a terrible truth over the course of his journey. A truth that may change everything. Will Kalki be able to win against Adharm & fulfill his destiny? Or will the world lose its greatest hero & head towards destruction?Pros:⚔️The cover was absolutely fabulously like the last two books, there is no doubt about that & the title Sword of Shiva is perfectly fitting because in the first half of the book Kalki spend to find this sword which got linked to his body & the other half using it.⚔️Loved the way Kevin had very meticulously crafted this entire world of Illavarti where Manavs, Nagas, Suparnas, Yakshas, Apsaras, Vanras, Asuras, Danvas, Rakshas & Pisachas are dwelled, which reminds me of the Percy Jackson series.⚔️Overall the plot was superb; the pacing was fast; the language used was very simple; the writing style was smooth. The different twists & turns that keep coming in the story really keeps the reader's interest intact & compels you to read more & more.⚔️Female characters were very strongly portrayed here, whether it is Padma, or Mansa or Durkti, Ratna Maru, even Alaskhmi & Kadru also; each & every one of them had their own individual personality. Instead of following the male characters passively, they always fight for their own beliefs & never submit to their enemies without a fight.⚔️The idea of channeling power which the Dharm & the Adharm uses was really innovative. The way Kevin had shown in how many different ways it can be used is mind-blowing & superb & those scenes where Kalki & Arjan interacted with their past selves were very interesting to read.⚔️My favorite character is Arjan. He might have killed many but unlike Kali, he has never been a psychopath killer who enjoys killing others. At the end, when he became aware that it was he who was Adharm, not Kali, the way he sacrifices his life to save the world from destruction, makes him the 2nd hero of the story.Cons:⚔️Didn't like the way Manasa character is drawn....she committed so many atrocities on the citizens of Indragarh but at the end still returns to her capital victorious without getting any punishment or realization that she committed something wrong... doesn't appeal to me.⚔️Manasa attacks on Indragarh along with his Suparnas & Dakshini armies in order to avenge his brother's murder from Kali without knowing whether Kali still reigning on Indragarh or not & Indragarh entered into a long protracted battle with them without even bothering to know the reason of the attack is totally absurd.⚔️The scene where Manasa was bitten by a cobra but still, she attacks Kadru & killed her by continuously dashing her head with a stone & she still survive was totally unbelievable. That happens only in serials, 😅 not in real life.⚔️The final confrontation between the Dharm & the Adharm & its result was even if quite expected but still well unveiled was quite unexpected. However, I didn't expect it to be concluded within a single chapter, as if the ending was written hastily. I was hoping to read more.Overall for me, it was an amazing trilogy. Sometimes I wish it never ended. If you're a reader, doesn't matter whichever genre is your favorite, you should really go for the series. I would highly recommend the series to everyone. My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wont recommend
I liked his 1st and 2nd part of kalki but specially in this part, kalki 3 he is seen trying to defane the Hindu history by presenting many hindu gods such as Parshuram and others as a villain. He is like devdutt 2.0 . My suggestion- if u want to write on Hindu culture just dont be inspired by movies use old scriptures plz. Thats the reason Amish Tripathi out shines u all. He calls his book fiction. And completely changes the story, but never changes the hero or villain roles.
