Hi, Orvis are VERY nice reels, especially at half-price, but the competitionsells 3 cheap spare spools for the other fly lines you need togetherwith the basic reel/spool. ( Floating, Intermediate,Sinking and Sink-tip ).The Grey GRXi is a typical example. When Orvis tackle this apparentlyobvious oversight they will take over the world of fly fishing.Regards,John
