I've tried quite a few things over the years, and this is the only thing that will actually kill all the crab grass safely in Bermuda. Follow the instructions, use surfactant, spot spray, and give it time to work. Results are not at the speed of glyphosate, but trust the process and wait. After a few weeks go again lightly on what you under-sprayed.

This herbicide knocked out the crabgrass and clover that other products couldn't touch. I followed the mixing instructions carefully and applied it with a pump sprayer. Within two weeks, the weeds were dead and my grass looked healthier. The quinclorac formula works well on tough broadleaf weeds too. The smell is fairly strong during application, so pick a calm day to avoid drift. The quart bottle covers a decent area, though it goes faster than I expected on a larger lawn. Overall, it does what it promises and is worth the investment if you have persistent weed problems.

Item arrived intact, no spills. The only complaint I have is that the application instructions are for an acre or more. I'm fairly comfortable using similar products, but that made it more difficult. Luckily I found an answer online.

It works! It takes about a week to see the effects but the crabgrass is now dead and the grass surrounding it survives.

it killed the weeds

Evidently this herbicide is extremely nasty. The full label warns that a fair amount of personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn. It also warns of how this pesticide is dangerous for fish and other water dwelling organisms. It also cautions not to apply it in windy conditions due to the danger of overspray. Maybe this just reflects my ignorance. I regret having purchased this and feel I need to consult with a hazmat team to get advice on how to dispose of it. This is truly my fault, and not the fault of the manufacturer. Based on what is printed on the accompanying insert, I wonder why this is even available for sale to the consumer. It also wasn’t abundantly clear at what concentration to use the product. As an alternative to using this product, I think I may wait until winter kills the crabgrass, and apply a pre-emergent next spring to get a handle on the problem by suppressing seed germination, provided that the pre-emergent is not equally or more nasty for the environment.
