I love these optical cubes. Displayed on my office credenza, when the sun catches them at the perfect angle, they shoot refracted, brilliant, almost celestial colors throughout my office on the walls and ceiling . The colors are pure and saturated and office visitors never fail to remark about the ethereal display. Keep in mind the sun has to hit them just right (like Stonehenge) and the display lasts only about 20 minutes but it is a relaxing display that shifts with the sun all year. Buy them and enjoy the dance with the Universe!!!

Gave these out as tiny gifts. People loved them, especially one who studied physics in school and was excited when I explained what it was. They are beautiful and very cool to see on a window ledge or a light-colored shelf where it can refract sunlight onto the shelf. Reminder that these are wee, about the size of dice (so not for young children) and are not threadable to hang. Just perfectly square, obsessive-satiating cubes.

The refractive glass in the x-cube does give off the amazing variety of colors shown in photos. For my use, I intend to facet a cube or 2 and will be using these for gifts just because they are so fascinating.

The cubes are a nice size, they fit in your hand. However, I was disappointed to see that they are clear. There is no color to them. To obtain color you have to hold them against something that has color in them. I thought they had color within them, it was the only reason I brought them. But regardless, they are cute and I just ended up putting them in my crystal cabinet. When the sun hits it, it do show a slight rainbow.

These are great, I'm not sure how sheerness and warmth apply but they are both warm and sheer... the point I'm here to make tho is that when they arrived there was a small chip on one, and they were so responsive and quick to replace, the new perfect ones arrived in two days! The packaging in both cases was identical and very good, I think the chip was just a manufacturing error that was missed, thanks for the rapid response and the really sweet little prisms

I recently purchased various crystal prisms to place in sunny windows. I find joy in seeing the unexpected assortment of colors that these small cubes produce as they cast the sun’s light. I look forward to each afternoon’s color display on walls, bed spread, floor and refrigerator. They put me in a happy mood.
