Great recipes but contradictory on olive oil vs no olive oil
I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to share this is a good book with many recipes I want to try, HOWEVER, it is contradictory about using olive oil for a plant based diet. On page 11 in the shopping list it includes olive oil, but then under “avoid this foods” it says to avoid olive oil! Many recipes in the book also include olive oil! I am thoroughly confused. I will keep the book because there are so many easy recipes I want to try, but for someone who is a beginner for plant based diet, some of the content is confusing.

Dissapointed
Wish it had pictures of what the finished meal looked like kinda like how the cover looks. I end up googling the recipe title and using the recipe online. Next time I'll just buy my cook book at a book store you guys don't even include in the description that its a soft cover.

Poor quality
The printing is awful on this book. Recipes broken between pages. Not professional at all.

Very Poor Layout
Will be returning. Very difficult to read. I expect a recipe or two per page. Instead, it's not unusual to have the end of a recipe to start a page, a short recipie, and then a line or two of a third recipe, all one one page. The whole book is printed this way. No margins to speak of either. Just not user friendly.

Simple recipes but not a high-quality cookbook
In addition to being horribly unorganized and poorly laid out, there are no pictures. The book contradicts itself by stating that olive oil should be eliminated yet posts recipes calling for olive oil. And, btw, where’s the explanation about why olive oil isn’t plant based? While the recipes are simple enough, it feels like someones attempt to jump on the plant based bandwagon by scouring the internet to gather 500 recipes without thoroughly editing, much less actually trying them out before they went to print. The meal plan was also a let down. I had hoped for a method by which I could prep in bulk to use throughout the week. All the book does is list what to cook for each meal, everyday for two weeks. It appears that no actual thought went into creating an interactive book on their part. For the reader, you can choose a recipe or two each day, remove the ingredients that aren’t recommended and hope for the best. I would only recommend this book if you aren’t a seasoned cook and are looking for simple and basic recipes.

Easy, Healthy and Satisfying!
Our family started with a plant based diet on January 1. This book has been a great asset to us offering up delectable meals that are easy and filling and taste wonderful. It also provides you with a 21 day meal plan. After reading the book we've gotten very creative and are now making up our own meals. I highly recommend this book.

Not for plant based diet!!!- yes for vegan
This is a very good for vegan recipes but not at all for plant based diet.She said in the beginning that it should be avoided the oil and her recipes are almost 90% with oil.Confusing.

Am I the only one to receive a copy where there are no margins at the top and the top line is cut off?????

No pictures, really cheap looking.
This book has absolutely no pictures and is printed on very cheap paper. I would have bought it if I'd seen it in a shop for about £2 but this is not a cheap book!

Not all Plant Based
I am willing to forgive a cookbook that has no photos if the recipes are simple and straight forward. These recipes seem to be that! HOWEVER, as I started to read this book, in the front there is a blurb on what foods to avoid... I am fairly familiar with the foods to avoid but read thru. Then, reading the FIRST recipe in the book, it calls for 100% pure fruit juice which is a food to "avoid". As I read on, recipes call for OIL (olive, sesame, grapeseed..), puff cereal and brown sugar!! The recipes do look good if you're willing to use some highly processed oils and other non-plant based ingredients.
