I purchased this product because I was looking for exclusively USA-sourced cosmetics. I distrust the possibly toxic components that may be found in some imported cosmetics and toiletries. Nontoxic components and non-animal-testing are indispensable "musts" for me. (The company's beautiful name was an additional attraction -- I love the name Gabriel.) Upon first applying the lip gloss, I was disappointed, because I was expecting a "gloopier" product -- this applies more like a lipstick and does not have a very liquid feel to it. However, I had only worn it for one day when I realized it does everything you expect a lip gloss to do and doesn't require the wet consistency that I am used to. This product adds a beautiful shimmer to the lips and both color and shine are long-lasting. I used to reapply my lip gloss often throughout the day -- with this product I rarely touch it up more than once and usually not at all. Even without the "gloop," I find the product keeps my lips feeling in good condition all day. The "softberry" color is a bit darker on me (I have fair skin) than I expected, so I may look for a lighter pink next time, but other than that I am completely satisfied with this product. For me the bottom line is gratitude that I have found something nontoxic to put on my lips and can feel comfortable and confident about the purity of its ingredients. I intend to try other products by Gabriel and substitute them for as many of my questionably-safe, current cosmetics as possible!

Very natural-looking, while also giving an appearance of finish. This color accidentally turned out to be the exact color of my daughter’s lip. So, aside from the liquid shine, it really wasn’t obvious she was wearing anything. Love the nontoxic ethic.

Love the color!! Beautiful and natural. I am very sensitive to products, and I've transitioned to everything in my makeup bag to natural products, as I simply cannot tolerate mainstream products any more. Even among natural products, this gloss is one of the few products that does not irritate my lips. My only complaint is that the gloss leaks from the lid when I close it and it leaks all over my purse.

I adore this brand and this particular color. It's a great gloss to be worn alone, or layered over another lipstick. It's my go-to and I can't live without it. I'm on my second tube. I love this brand is more natural and doesn't have so much junk in it.

I bought this because it was on Oprahs favorite things list and I see why she picked it. Color is great and quality even better.

The one in the picture is from the "lip treatment 8" collection and is my favorite color of tinted gloss ever. Its a smooth shimmery gloss with a dark brown tint. But I was dissapointed when the package arrived and noticed they sent me one from their newer collection and its a completely different color and bottle. Its a thicker formula, highly pigmented pinkish shade. I already had bought the same one they sent me but never use it because I didn't like the way the thicker formula felt on my lips. Now i have 2 new same color lip glosses im not gonna use. And the one they sent me looks like it had been swatched before. Waste of money. This is my first 1 star rating I've ever given on amazon.
