Light installed easily and worked well, but didn’t fix my projector. Company accepted the return without question. Highly recommend!

I did not even plug this into my projector as the IR filter on it does not block the spectrum required to keep the optics safe. Using these cheap bulbs will eventual cause the optical train in the projector to heat up and fail, ruining the projector. The bulb itself was unmarked so its quality is questionable as well, but that doesn't really matter if the IR filter is bad.If you buy one of these cheap bulbs, make sure it rejects IR properly. You can check this by shining and IR led (like an older tv remote) through the glass lens while viewing it though your cell phone camera. The flashing from the remote IR LED should be faint. You can also usually see a red reflection off the glass at the right angle. If the reflection looks blue/green its probably not going to block the IR needed to be safe for the optics.

Bought Oct 9th 2021. Bulb popped Apr 14th 2022. It's good Friday long weekend and no more working projector. Kids are super unhappy.Projector was set in echo mode and this bulb barely lasted 120 hours of viewing. This is unacceptable.

I replaced my orignal lamp with this. But this causes flickering im my optoma 141x projector. I put on my old lamp and flickering goes away. There seems to be some issue with the lamp
