When reliability must be Absolute choose Luminox !
The lamps do not help when unless in very dark enviroment.. I purchased my A.N.U (XS.4221/4200 Series)in Aug.2019 use a UV flashlight on the face , then the lamps shine. Until the light is removed. Other thanthe dim lamps, the time piece is Great !!!
