Blowfish Malibu Women's Play Canvas Sneaker

I read the reviews and waffled on buying these. I wear a size 10 in every shoe I own, and my foot is pretty much average width, trending to the narrower side of normal. Thought I’d try them as a replacement for the S. Oliver’s I got in Ireland and can’t find here (BEST. CANVAS. SNEAKER. EVER!!!!). Here are my thoughts:COLORI ordered black. These are, technically, black. Technically. But the color is such a washed out shade that wearing them with black leggings makes the shoe look off—almost worn out given the intentionally frayed fabric edges. They’re okay with jeans, but I hesitate to pair them with a true black anything (shirt, skirt, pants, shorts, etc.).FITYeah…NOT a true 10. I recently had my left hip replaced so I have a long shoe horn to help me get sneakers on (except my beloved Kiziks which I now wear almost exclusively). If I didn’t have the shoe horn and the benefit of some flexibility regained over 2 months of physical therapy, these wouldn’t go on. Period. They are SUPER snug. I’m hoping they’ll stretch with frequent wearing. If they don’t? I’ll be putting them up for sale with full disclosure on the fit. The heel is snug, and I like that they don’t slip. But the toe box isn’t truly rounded so my toes are squished together like little polished sardines! LOL Despite the more pointed toe, they don’t really make my foot look long. That’s a plus but one that won’t qualify if it turns out I can’t wear them.QUALITYThey seem well made overall. The fraying fabric gives them a worn look as noted above. The one thing that surprised me was the tread. The bottoms are seriously slick on hardwood floors and tile right out of the box. I went out and scuffed them up some on the driveway, but I think it’s going to take a few seatings before they aren’t so slick.OVERALLI’m not thrilled with them. I ordered a white pair before these arrived, and I’m 95% sure I’ll be returning them without opening the box. I’m just not sure they’re the right canvas sneaker for me given that I’m not positive I’ll be able to comfortably wear them.Hope this helps!

This shoe is perfect and I am so pleased with my purchase! They are so comfortable and cute as can be and so affordable! The hardest part was picking a style, there are so many to choose from. I will absolutely be buying these shoes again!!

Comfortable shoes, I got the grey ones. I want to order another pair in black. They are true to size.

I already have a pair of these in white and they fit perfect. They are a little bit more wornIn though. My right foot is about a half a size larger than my left foot because of arthritis so I had to send them back. Looking to get the same color in a different style!

I just liked the looks. I don't expect foot support or anything like that.

these are super cute, they are comfortable, definitely not made for someone with a wide foot which is fine for my daughter. they do seam to run a half size small in my opinion. they are definitely not exercise shoes!!! no traction on the bottom just fabric but cute for everyday use and wearing out.

Really good looking pump - smart casual. I find the blowfish pumps/sneakers come up slightly larger than the Roxy and Skechers equivalent, Fit good , inside sole quite hard , be great if it had memory foam insole! Overall nice shoe and the leopard print had slightly faded vintage look which looks great , very fast international shipping- highly recommended! Many 😊 thanks!

Modern and stylish trainers, true to size

I find Chuck's too narrow for my feet and these appeared to be a good substitute style. They are a bit wider than Converse but I found the length a bit short. I am normally a 7.5 in sneakers but the size 8 was slightly too small. The strangest thing about these shoes, however, is that the bottom of the soles are covered with a felt-like material. This gives them zero traction. I tried them on inside and on my hardwood floors and I was sliding all over the place. Such an odd design choice I'm still trying to figure it out!

These are the best - I’m such a fan of Buffalo plaid and Blowfish runners so a double bonus. The back of heel a bit thinner material than I like but a shoe horn helps. I’m over sixty but I feel young and stylish with my Buffalo plaid shirt and Buffalo plaid shoes but seriously it’s only me that thinks I’m rocking! These are great walkers and I even buy a size up for my orthotics. Buy them when they are on sale like I did so you can buy two pairs - I bought the tie dye blowfish and love those puppies too!

The soles on these shoes are very slippery. I was at work with them on, not a greasy floor but a hospital type floor and I ended up wiping out and landing on both my knees. They are fine walking the roads etc. but not for indoors.
