It works just roll it slowly
I was skeptical, but it kept the pieces together remarkably easy just had to push a couple slide A couple back in place. I’m almost done with a 2000 piece puzzle and I had to move so it worked perfectly. Thank you.

Puzzle Saver = Sanity Saver!
If you're a fellow puzzle lover who's tired of giving up the dining table for a week (or two… or three 😅), this puzzle mat roll-up is a game changer.I got this to help manage a 2000-piece beast of a puzzle, and it worked beautifully. The felt mat is large enough to fit the whole thing with some room to sort edge pieces and groups. It’s a good thickness—not too flimsy, so pieces stay in place but not too bulky to roll up smoothly. The inflatable tube is clever and surprisingly sturdy (just don’t overinflate), and the elastic bands hold everything tight once it's rolled. I was skeptical at first, but honestly, I’ve rolled this thing up and unrolled it several times now, and not a single piece has gone rogue. What I love most: I can finally pause puzzling without committing the whole table or worrying about curious pets or toddler hands undoing hours of work.Whether you're a casual puzzler or a year-round addict (like me), this is 100% worth it. It keeps everything secure, neat, and easy to store. Bonus: it also makes for a great gift for any puzzle fan!

They are tough and the best to use
It was I wanted and expected. Wide enough and heavy enough. I use two. On my table I put my puzzle on bottom and cover over with a top

Straps to secure puzzle WAY TO SHORT
This puzzle mat technically works for most puzzles. It advertises 2000 piece which I would say is a false statement.Technically it does fit on the felt but there are a couple big issues. The BIGGEST problem is the Velcro straps, you will not be able to secure a 2000 piece puzzle closed. The straps are at least 2 inches too short.Even on smaller puzzles you may find yourself struggling to secure the straps. The next issue is rolling it up, your pieces will shift and buckle while rolling it up. The caveat is at least they stay in the same location so reassembly only takes a few minutes.Additionally the inflatable tube isn't as durable as I would hope, but I'm not going to hold that fault against them since my dog popped it.But, what I will hold against them is not including a patch kit (like what you get with inflatable beds)It's not a "bad" kit, and you get what you pay for. But I'd suggest maybe spending 5 dollars more on something a little better

Works well.
With two new kittens in the house I was looking for a way to continue with jigsaw puzzles. This works very well. The mat has a different feel than building directly on the table, the pieces don't slide on the mat, but it's well worth it to be able to safely roll up the puzzle and put it away. The markings on the mat are helpful when assemble the frame, keeping everything straight. It's a little challenging if you need to adjust the puzzle if things aren't lined up just right, again no sliding action. To date I've worked two puzzles, a 750 piece and a 1000 piece. I lay all the loose pieces out flat on the mat prior to rolling up the puzzle for put away. I found the loose pieces do move a bit when I unroll for the next session but most of the connected pieces stay together. The further along in the build the less movement there is when unrolling.

Don't buy felt.
This was my first puzzle mat purchase. You get what you pay for, here. Not sure how it has so many good reviews. The blow up tube was fine. However, I didn't think about it when I ordered, but I will be traveling with this and I am not sure the tube will hold up. We won't find out, as I have already ordered another mat for double the price. Because the "mat" itself is horrible. Felt, which I thought would be ok. It is not.1. It is just a piece of felt. I could have made this for a fraction of the price. If you are on a budget, go to a fabric store and get a pool noodle and some rubber bands.2. It comes creased. So it cannot be used right out of the box. I am sure if I wash and dry, or wet and hang or lie flat, the creases may come out. Honestly, it isn't worth the effort. Because, ...3. It is nearly impossible to slide pieces around. Which is just annoying.Do yourself a favor and spring for another option. I suppose you could gift this to someone you don't like. lol

A practical option
A very convenient option for storing the puzzle; it doesn't come apart. It helped me a lot.
