Horse Diaries #12: Luna

My daughter is 9. Despite being immensely grateful that she is a voracious reader, that also means she quickly reads one book after another and another, etc. This series has spawned a love for horses and after finishing a book in this series in an afternoon, she’s asking for the next one and is anxious to read the new one just as soon as she finishes another. It is very hard to distract her and she seems to soak them all up very quickly. The themes seem to be very age-appropriate and she loves the characters in every book. If you have a child who loves to read and also loves animals, this series will likely be enjoyed by your child.

My 5 year old reads above average and asked me to purchase these books she currently on book 9 after receiving them the beginning of December. She loves to read and she reads everything, Its problem borrowing books from the library she always wants to keep them, I find myself purchasing books every few weeks. The stories are wonderful and she enjoys all the characters, the setting of the story and the images. She just enjoy the series I purchased the frist book during the summer and she asked me to purchase the series for the holiday when shes off from school Thank you Horse Diaries

Purchased for granddaughter who loves horses. She loved this series and learned a lot about the different breeds of horses. She now has her own horse and competes with him in gymkanas and jumping horse shows.

First one purchased at Amish store, My granddaughter loves these book she is 8 years old. I would recommend for anyone who likes horses.

Excellent novel for horse lovers. Gives great history and cultural perspectives as well. Great book for 3rd-6th graders.
