These pens are great. We use them as highlights in our adult coloring book and they work like magic. The color is bright white and writes really fast. They are so easy to use, and rarely smear. I got these for artwork. They are great with dark or grayish backgrounds. Anything where can get the right contrast to offset them. They also work very well to "erase" minor lines you wish to hide. Very nice all around.

After you break in the pen, after the first uses the ink flow gets good. You have three different sizes so you can decide on how fine you want your white lines. I did notice that there was a slight smear with it so you would probably need to let it dry before touching it. It is good quality for the price. Helped elevate my drawing and colorings a lot.

Great quality pens. I love it. It glides smoothly across paper and don't smudge. The color is very crisp and bright. It's fun to write on dark colored paper and see the white make its bold statement.

The Sakura Gelly Roll comes highly recommended by many artists. There are several complimentary testimonials and comparisons on YouTube alone. I purchased two sets. In many applications these pens work great but, in some, they fail to lay down much color. I can't always trust this pen to satisfy my need. I'm sure it depends on the medium on top of which it is applied. And, sometimes it seems that the medium upon which I am attempting to apply it blocks the tip. The fluid looks, to me, more like a paint than an ink. And, it sometimes takes a little coaxing to get it to flow everywhere I want it. I hoped for better. It's great when it works (90% of the time).
