Saxton TCT Circular Wood Mitre Saw Blade 255mm x 80T x 25.4mm Bore fits Evolution Rage Saws

Seem to be very well made blades, I'm using one in my sliding mitre saw to cut fire wood, over 2 hours of cutting and still as sharp as new.Definitely recommended.

Good blades worth the money

I have been using this blade for a few months in my mitre/chop saw, much better than stock saw blade and on a par with more expensive main brand blades I have used. Cut 50m2 of engineered hardwood parquet floor and 100s of linear metres of larch cladding with very little chip out compared to the stock blade my saw came with. It is starting to ear on a few teeth, but still performs well, cutting quickly and accurately. I also subsequently bought a blade from a main brand (Teal coloured) when I spotted it on sale in a store and have noticed very little difference from the Saxon blade. I even bought Saxon blades for my table saw and circular hand saw.

Super clean cut on all timber so far, way better than the universal blades supplied with some mitre and circular saws.

Made a few test cuts with this on receipt after installing on an Evolution sliding mitre saw. Really impressed with the cut of this, leaves such a smooth edge on soft wood with no breaking out except on the leading and trailing edge of the cut (and not too much there either). I hope it can maintain this performance over a reasonable period of time but first impressions are excellent. Massive improvement over the Evolution multi material blade which is great because it will cut all sorts but is not optimised for any particular material and I only really do wood on my saw. Will be buying another for my table saw soon.

Good quality blade produces fine finish

I'm very impressed with the quality of Saxton saw blades, so much so the majority of my saws are using them now. I've spent £££s on blades over the years and had good and bad. At the prices this blade felt like a gamble but it turned out to be as good as blades I've spent £60+ on. I'm current using them in my Evolution mitre saw, my shop DeWalt mitre saw, my Makita circular saw and am waiting to install one on my shop table saw.If your still using a stock blade I highly recommend you replace it asap with a Saxton blade

This blade was bought to do some rough and ready cutting as it was cheap. That said, the blade cut very cleanly and seems to hold its sharpness even though I hit a nail or two. I will buy another of these when I need to do that.
