GET ONE!! Please read. Worth it.
Man I was like “idk” at first. Well I purchased the machine with the filter they offer (I highly DO NOT recommend the filter they offer for this machine). The machine only hold 28lbs of ice but it makes ice every 12-13 minutes. It worked fine at first for about a week then no water would pump. I figured the pump was messed up so I took the machine apart (will void warranty) then I noticed all this sand material caused by the filter after I let the filter run clean before installing. I washed out the pump and removed filter and it works better than before. The best part is the ice it makes, it freezes hard and it stays solid! Even room temperature drinks won’t make the ice melt fast! It does from time to time stop pumping and the E2 button flashes (error) i just press the off button and wait 2 to 3 minutes and start it back up. I will be installing the cloth style filter later. Also will be purchasing another one. To have more ice.

Love this ICE Maker
The setup was easy. It looks clean and sleek. It produces enough ice to fill our coolers daily and keep my iced coffee nice and chilled.I wish that there was an enclosed space for the scoop. If you leave it in the bin it gets covered in ice. If you leave it out it gets dirty from the air/dust.I also wish there was a base that came with it or that could be purchased for it. As the machine is short we had to build a base to make it the right height.

Ok ice maker
It works good. I wanted to start with that because I’m pleased with it. The door is a bit flimsy; when I grab the bottom the door (no identified handle) it wobbles or see-saws a bit when going up. That just has todo with the tracks the door uses to go up. Not a malfunction; just not the best way which would’ve cost more. The biggest pain I had was hooking it up. It came with a funky adapter and rather cheap plastic water line. I had to make a few trips to different store (hardware, Lowe’s, plumbing shop) before I found a plumber who had 2 adapters he applied to the one that came with the machine. Basically he had to rig it to make it work. And it works great. I don’t know if the construction was made with different standards, but the plumber had seen these before and knew how to fix. I’d suggest asking the vendor ahead of time (with any ice machine) to describe their connection process so you know ahead of time how to hook it up. It’s been running several months with adequate ice for our needs.

That it was an easy install and works great!
Easy install and all I had to do was get a copper pipe tap kit from Lowes... $12. Let it sit for 24 hours and get all the pluming set up before you turn the knob to start water flowing. Let it run for 24 hours. Flushes the system and works great. The Ice does not freeze up but drains great! Only problem I had was with Amazon who sent me two of these and charged me for two but they quickly re-imbersed me... awaiting shipping instructions for the other ice maker.

Produces cool water, not ice.
Product did not work. Barely produced any ice at all and definitely not a useful amount.

one month continual use still works
We replaced an Ice O Matic with this machine and keep it under our bar. It is perfect for a small venue or cafe. We also bag and sell ice and so far it is working better than our previous commercial machine. We built a riser to get it up 8 inches and this also allowed more room to build a diverted drain. We did have a thicker harvest a few days ago but it is working normall again. Will post if it starts acting up. I think shipping is hard on them and you can hear the compressor banging around when you move the box so that is probably an issue if they show up not working.

Replacement Parts
Hard to determine a true rating. I have used and still use our Ice machine it has not given us any issues up until last week. I was slack on changing out the water filter and it gummed up the water solenoid valve and the float switch. I reached out to VREMI on a replacement float switch and the following was their response.Unfortunately, we do not have replacement float switch.I checked your order and unfortunately, your warranty has expired. Once the warranty expires, the order is closed and we can't access it anymore. If you would like to have our properly working unit, I would advise that you go ahead and purchase a brand new one (which will be covered with a warranty also) and we will provide you with a 20% discount on the purchase, in the form of a refund, after you've received the unit.So basically, they are saying that a 50-to-70-dollar part they don't have and want you to spend another 4 to 500 bucks on a new machine. Um no, thankfully I was able to get mine operating properly again. To me if you are going to sell a product like an ice machine you should sell the parts to repair it when they will be needed. For those wondering there is a screen in the water solenoid valve that could be stopped up. Be careful taking apart if you do there is a spring inside the component.UPDATE:Just received this email: The Commercial Ice maker with SKU# VRM050692N has been discontinued.Becuase of this, we do not have replacement parts and information for parts availability.I suggest you bring the unit to any Repair Cetner or licensed repair technician near you. They should be able to locate where you can purchase compatible parts.

Ice machine works well, just a little noisy though
I've been using the Vremi ice machine for a few weeks now. I really like this ice maker, and it works as described and makes ice very fast. The storage bin is not refrigerated, however ice will stay in the bin for about a day with little melting. I like to make ice until the bin is full, and then bag it up and put it in the freezer. I then power the unit off until I need to make ice again. We have the machine in our cabinet behind a door (I plumbed in the water supply and drain), and had to put a vent exhaust fan in the side of the cabinet to help keep the unit cool as it does put out quite a bit of heat during the ice making process.
