Essential for this Low Volt Electrician
Ok I very rarely review things here but I have gotten far too much use out of these things to not leave one here.I originally bought these December of 2021 early into my career as a Low Voltage Electrician. I figured they would just be a starter set until I got further and started to make more money since these were only $30 which seemed to be quite cheap compared to the "better" sticks I was planning to get later. Now here I am 2 and a half years later and I'm buying a second set because of how essential these are to my job.Yes, they are very flexible, flimsy even, but there have been very few times, maybe once or twice, that I have pulled these out and not been able to get the job done. Maybe things are different for other similar trades, but I am often fishing behind drywall through insulation, through very small spaces in hollow door frames, through cable trays, through packed conduit runs/sleeves and this makes most jobs quick and easy for me. There are certainly some limitations, like you're obviously not pushing 3+ of these sticks down a cable tray without it popping through the bottom, so you'll need to pop open a few extra ceiling tiles, but the pros far, far outweigh the limitations.I do have a more expensive set of more rigid sticks for spots that I absolutely need that rigidity, but that kit only came with like 4 sticks, and there very first time I tried to use them in a door frame that was just a touch too small, I snapped one in half. Now I'm down to 3 sticks of far more expensive sticks on literally my first time trying them out! Obviously I shouldn't have used those ones in that specific pull, but I'm just driving home the fact that you really don't have to worry so much about snapping these ones because of how many you get anyways and how inexpensive they are compared to many others. Those tiny spaces and sharp turns in door frames you're just not going to be able to work with using the more expensive, more rigid sticks. With these, you get so many sticks so cheap, I have no fear forcing these things around these bends. Most of the time it makes it through undamaged anyways, but even if I managed to snap a head off, there's plenty more sticks in a single tube that by the time you break enough to need another, you've gotten far more than your money's worth out of these things. At this point 2 and a half years of nearly daily use for me, I think I still have 5-6 sticks that are still nearly fully in tact while the rest I have by now snapped one of the heads off. I just can't believe how much use I've gotten out of a $30 set of fish sticks that I fully expected to bust through within the first 6 months at best.I would say if you need sticks for very long runs with plenty of open spaces, these may not be the best option, although you will certainly still get lots of use out of them once you get used to finessing them around properly, but if you work in plenty of small spaces with sharp turns that you just can't risk snapping a more rigid, expensive stick in, then you absolutely need these things.Just do not lose the hook attachment. That thing is super important for more of my pulls and I have only just recently lost the one in my original kit which is why I'm back for another set now rather than waiting to break a few more sticks first. It does suck that the hook does not fit in the tube when screwed into a stick so it has to sit loose in the bottom of my tube, but it hasn't caused me an issue yet. And be sure to tape the bottom of the tube closed. Sometimes that rubber piece will fall off otherwise and then there goes your hook!

great product for electrical use
these fiberglass rods help me snake wires with ease. I like to use these more than the metal steel fish tape because of the durability

Value and flexible
Extreme value but fairly flimsy. Worked great for my needs to move Ethernet up wall and extend wall plug behind tv.

Very stretchy. Very sheer.
Those are the features Amazon asked me to rate, and they are very. But seriously, I used this to fish some ethernet cables through the soffits and the garage attic for some security cameras I installed. They worked perfectly. Flexible enough to get around the corners yet rigid enough to get where I needed it. Also glad I got the 50' kit, as it was handy to basically have 2 rods: 1 to push up and another to reach from the other side, hook and pull it over.

Great Snake for price
I have used may snakes like this in the past. This one is great, the sections are small to use in tight spaces. the snake is flexible. the ends are secure and stay in place on the fiberglass rod. in working on a major project on broke on section because I bent it in to tight.

It works as designed but isn't stiff enough to push anything.
It will work okay for pulling but it's too flimsy to push anything, even itself.

Worked awesome
I used these fish poles (not fishing poles) to install 5.1 surround in my finished basement. Was able to get wire to everywhere I wanted with some help from my kids small hands and these fish poles. The 50ft (vs 12 or 15 ft) was nice because I was able to use more than one run at a time as I prepped to pull speaker wires to various spots. Overall I would buy again and recommend.

No attachments in package.
I could give a better review if I was able to actually use it as intended. I will change my rating if the attachments are made available! The package came with no attachments, so I'm forced to just tape coat hangers and junk to the end to get this job done. Otherwise I appreciate how slim they are, and easy to fit in access holes. However they are a little flimsy, so if you are trying to reach a target far away, it is difficult to control horizontally. (Attics, crawlspaces)

Comes in handy
A little too flexible tbf although have came in useful on many occasions so can't really fault them as I have stiffer ones also
