Sublime Vinyl, Artwork and Mastering!!!
Pink Floyd has been on quite a roll of late. With Their Mortal Remains exhibit, The Early Years Box set, and releasing all their studio albums remastered on vinyl. Now they begin the task of releasing the live recordings and compilations on vinyl. So far I have been extremely impressed with everything that has come out, including the Mono version of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn LP which came out on record store day.Pulse has always been one of my favorite live albums and this release is by far the most elaborate releases Pink Floyd has put out on vinyl to date. The pressings are pristine and the box comes with exquisite artwork and photographs. The booklet states that this is a analog recording, and it sounds magnificent. The sound just blows the CD completely out of the water. If you are a Pink Floyd fan I highly recommend this vinyl version of this beautiful live album. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. If you are not yet into vinyl yet, and you love Pink Floyd, this record is your best place to start. Worth every dollar.

The music gets 5 stars; the vinyl & book get 4 stars
The music of course is 5-stars. How's the vinyl? My first copy had problems on two of the four discs. Amazon is great about replacing defective records and sent me a new copy before I had to return the old one. The new copy isn't perfect, either. So, I kept the best disc from each set and sent the bad ones back.Otherwise, the pressing is good. The discs are flat enough with far lower than average surface noise. The mastering is very good - I can't tell if it is indeed mastered from the original analog tapes or if there's some digital mastering, like in the 2009 Beatles remasters. But in any event, the mastering sounds very good - except on side 1 of disc 1, which to my ears doesn't sound quite as good as the rest of the set.One last thing: the included book is hard-bound, the size of a record, and contains mostly photos from the concert. Many of these photos are grainy--they look like low-resolution images blown up to a large size. That's unfortunate. But they are colorful and I'm happy to have them. The book itself is nicely done.

Fantastic music with inferior packaging.
Pulse is a fantastic live album, but I'm taking a star off for its packaging.I love the hard case and the interior booklet, but the disc sleeves are not sealed at their bottoms, which lets the discs drop out a bit, which exposes them to damage. I don't even know what to say - I've encountered all kinds of issues with disc packaging, but this is the first time I've seen bottomless sleeves. What prevents the discs from falling all the way through is that there is some circular sealing - it's just done on the sides and the disc can fit between those sealings enough to drop out a bit through the sleeve. To fix this, I decided to store the discs in my own sleeves and then store them inside the booklet along their original sleeves. Fortunately, the case is wide enough to accommodate this arrangement, so I don't have to store the discs separately.

The High Point of Pink Floyd (Minus Roger Waters)
This has to be one of the best live performances of all time. Every song is played to perfection. I don't think a single note could be changed to make it any better. It comes with two cd's that have great quality. Also, it comes with pictures of them during the Pulse tour. It even has the picture of David Gilmour in the rain, which was the only show that was cancelled due to weather. This is definitely another Pink Floyd album that cannot be played in random mode.

Pulse LP Box Set!! For $80 and not $1299!!!
This set is pure awesomeness I have the original blinking light CD set and the sound here on four flat quiet vinyls is breathtaking the book is very nice and the vinyls sit in two of two sleeves -I may put the vinyls in mo fi sleeves soon to protect them. The show we all know, the bottom line is it’s a great set at a good price, this whole set is quality!!! It’s an incredible buy at $80! I may get another one!!!

Superb quality!
Beautifully sounding quality! The copy that I received has a defect on the 4th LP...aa always, Amazon has no problem with sending a replacement out. One of the many reasons why Amazon is the best!

Fantastic reissue! Miss the flashing red LED.
What a great audiophile reissue of Pink Floyd's Pulse, the live album from their Division Bell tour. I wish they would have added another LP with the tracks from the DVD that did not make the vinyl cut, such as One Slip and US and Them. Gilmour's guitar is the star of the show, and these are some of his best recorded live performances. Well worth the price. It is well packaged for delivery.

Get this album
I’m a bit of a Pink Floyd fan so bit of bias there, but in general I don’t like live albums. You’ve got to be there to feel it. Think of any Springsteen concert( outside of Wembley’s ridiculous noise regs). This however is the exception to the rule. The sound is excellent, the songs are recognisable and there’s just enough audience noise to really get a feel for the Floyd live. It’s been a while since I’ve seen them and unlikely ever to see them again, but this really brings it back.If you only buy one live album this should be it

My Pulse is racing
I already had the DVD. But wanted the CD to play on my smart phone. Didn’t want to Download it. I’m touchy feely about album and CD covers. It also arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Great service.
