Natalie. .com One might reasonably expect Tomcats to be the Porky's of 2001: after all, it concerns a group of young, sexist morons and their fears and fantasies about young women. But Tomcats isn't quite as brain-dead as that, though it is phenomenally more neurotic. Jerry O'Connell plays one of two remaining bachelors within a group of wealthy pals who set aside a cash reward, years before, earmarked for the last among them to get married. O'Connell needs the money to pay off a gambling debt, but his problem is that the other bachelor is a horrendous pig (Jake Busey) unlikely ever to land a gal. A general mean-spiritedness flows through this wearying comedy, manifest in such ugly moments as watching someone's girlfriend run over by a golf cart and an excised, cancerous testicle kicked around hospital hallways. If you're looking for female flesh, however, forget it: Tomcats is far more driven to explore male nudity, while making equally naked today's masculine fears of impotence, mothers, and lesbians. --Tom Keogh

Great movie, one of the best
Great movie, one of the best.Mine came to me damaged I don't know if it was the shipping or the packaging but it came with a big pressure hole in the case but the movie plays okay. I would have given it five stars otherwise.

Tomcats - One of top comedies in past decade
This movie was quoted by a friend of mine. I went and rented it, and I haven't seen a movie as quick and funny as this since. I bought it on Amazon for less than [...] bucks and I've watched it twice since. I'm still laughing at it. Definitely worth it if you're a guy between 18-100 years old.

Hilarious!
This is by far my all time favorite comedy. Very hilarious. I still laugh everytime i watch it and I've seen it atnleast 100 times.

In this 2001 sit-com, six friends make a deal to each invest in a fund, which would be paid to the last remaining bachelor of the group. Six years later and only two remain single so Michael Delaney [Jerry O'Connell] attempts to marry off the other remaining bachelor, super rich Kyle Brenner, to Kyles former ‘love of his life’ in order to claim the fund to pay off a gambling debt, but as the plot develops things don’t go exactly to plan.The opening titles are in a cartoon style with dogs replacing the male characters and with the fast rock music score immediately highlight the drive behind this movie as do the cartoon additions to the opening live action scenes. Most of the gags revolve around incompetent and accident prone Michael and the bizarre situations he gets into. The humour is often crude, vulgar and often gross, but it’s also surprisingly hilarious in places.The single disc offers play, scene selection, special features [theatrical trailers, filmographies subtitled/dubbed], subtitles English, French, Dutch, Polish, Bulgarian and Czech –special features will automatically play in the selected language] and audio set-up [English, French]. Rated 15 this is contains frequent usages of the ‘F’ and ‘C’ words, plus a host of others but although it relies on a lot sexual and often sexist humour, it actually only features two shots of O’Connells buttocks, although silhouettes play a large part of the visual humour. If you liked the humour of ‘There’s something about Mary’, ’Not another Teen movie’ or the ’American Pie’ franchise, then this may appeal and is highly underrated.
