Good for the price
10-17-20 I tried to take pictures of as much as I can since these lights did not have very many reviews. The box the lights are packaged in was small but everything was neatly organized and properly packaged with protection. After removing the lights, I found a small cosmetic imperfection, a dimple in the controls for one light. Underneath the lights were spare colored lenses, tripods and mounts. The lights came with white diffuser lenses installed. The lenses simply slide up and out making it very easy to change. Lenses included were white, red, blue and yellow. The lenses themselves had plastic protectors attached. When plugged in and testing, the light output is blinding at max strength. Would be good for lighting up a whole room. At minimum brightness, it's enough extra light to help your webcam have a better view of you (which is what I bought these for) without blinding you. Each light has its own USB power cord which is permanently attached, meaning you'll need two open usb ports to use them both. The adjustments are easy to tighten/loosen, everything fit together smoothly and stays in place once set. No issues with lights sagging when angled downward. Overall, for the price these lights seem like a great buy. I can't comment on the durability of the components or quality of the leds used, but I will be sure to update my review if I start having leds burn out or of any failures I come across.

BETTER THAN I IMAGINED. But be careful...
These are great! When I say BE CAREFUL, I am referring to the fact that you can not fit the colored gels in the way you would like. Two sets of my gels do not fit along with the diffuser, but This company is probably THE BEST company I have ever purchased from. I Used the Gels and because of how awesome the Tripod is, I was able to angle the light upwards which gravity caused the Gel to slip out of the slot and sit on top of the LED's. LED's don't get too hot as you know but Gel's have a very low melting point. . I wrote about the Gel's and was immediately contacted by someone from the company and was shown first hand what Legendary customer service was like. Trust me. Get these Lights. they are worth it. One thing I would mention is that they work well with the larger Iphone cubes but you have to make sure they output the correct voltage. mine is 5.2 volts 2.4 amps. The Tripods are very sturdy, and not cheap-o things that you often receive in packages. The only thing I recommend is that there be an option to choose a premium package. In that package would be: an included carrying bag. two USB extensions cables. A wall outlet plug. The ability to turn the lights on and off via Remote. And More Gels, which could be held in the Gel Case. If i could give this product 6 Stars I would.

Functional. Does its job. Has pros and cons.
I've been using these lights to light documents and photos on a copy stand. They're OK. Here are the pros and cons. If you have a large sensor camera, this product should work fine for lighting small products and for copy stand work. PROS good (cheap) price, relative to other products no flickering; can use electronic shutter on camera fairly uniform light on/off and brightness control is convenient CONS brightness not too strong; usually shoot ISO 1000 and above in brightly lit room tripod that comes with product takes quite a bit of room on table (I used my own small tripods in photo) kind of cheap (but probably expected for the price); range and position of tripod is limited

Initial disappointment replaced by surprised satisfaction
I admittedly did not read the description too carefully when I bought these. When the box arrived I was surprised it was so small. The tripods are tiny (the feet fully expanded are about a 9" triangle) and the unit is small. The unit is also USB powered - not a plug in. Had I read the description carefully I would have known all that. Disappointed I tossed them on the shelf for a couple of days. I finally had some spare time and fired one up. It puts out a ton of light. To use it with my web cam I have to lower the intensity! I also got a clip for my dropped ceiling and the vertical rod screws in and the tilt head lets me aim the light exactly where I want it. It turns out, despite the small size these are great. They have solved my web cam lighting issues and I went from disappointed to very satisfied. Make sure you look at the sizes so you are not surprised when you get them - but they are bright and very well done, especially for the price.

Needs a decent amount of power. Super cool toned with no warm tone setting
Update to review after messing with these lights: I like them, but they’re almost an inconvenience because of the power they need via USB port. Each light needs 5watts or 2amps of power, most USB adapters that have multiple USB ports share their wattage. So if it’s a 3amp plug with 2 ports it’s 1.5amp per port. I don’t have much plug space to spare so I decided I needed to buy a surge protector extension cord with multiple ports, most of them also share wattage between USB ports if they’re included. So I had to go out and buy a specialty port for these lights that also accommodated everything else I needed plugged into my desk and it’s been a bit frustrating. I had to buy a 10amp multi USB port because I didn’t want to have to go out and buy multiple adapter blocks for these lights, the other usb items I had plugged in, and then also a surge protector extension cord. Okay so, these lights are pretty dope and extremely bright. Overall I like them. I needed some lighting to light up my desk as I record my work progress for my small business but since I work on a glass surface on my desk, my current light I have directly above my work surface reflects really bad over my work. So I needed something that I could set to the side of my desk that would still light things up without being close to the glass and causing a weird reflection. My surface behind the glass is black so a big white light reflecting on it is pretty stark. My main con with these lights is that there is no warm tone/warm&cool combined setting. They are superrrr cool toned LEDs. Originally when I bought them I thought the colored films that came with them would have a peach tone film(or wouldn’t be as potent of a color as they are) to make a false warm tone, but alas they did not. The films are very handy for needing colored light without buying rgb lighting. You can overlap them to make secondary colors as well like I showed with the red and yellow. You need to have the white diffuser cover with the films or else the led lights are very obvious through the films like in my last picture. The only issue with this is with the plastic cover and two films it’s a little tight fitting all three in. The cord for the light is pretty decently long which could be a pro or a con depending on who you are and how much space you have to bundle cords in. All photos are in full brightness but the lowest setting is pretty low too if you need light but not blinding light. The little extendo arm is helpful too, adds about an extra four inches to the height. The films show finger smudges so try not to touch them with semi dirty or oily hands (like moisturized hands) or have lint free wipes close by if smudges bother you. First photo: just the clear diffuser cover Second photo: diffuser and yellow film Third photo: diffuser, red film, and yellow film Fourth photo: diffuser and blue film Fifth photo: red film no diffuser

Works great for video calls.
I'm using the lights for video calls for work. They are great. Work much better than those circular diffusers in terms of light quality and usability. I actually only need one, because its bright enough, but we'll see come Winter maybe I'll use the 2nd one. Only complaint is that the whole light with the stand is pretty light, so not the most study thing, but perfect for my use as it just sits behind my laptop. Light is diffuse enough that it's not blinding, and the adjustable stand lets you lower and raise the height and angles so you can get it just right. I really like how adjustable and practical the tripod is. Simple and to the point. Overall, very pleased with the purchase- just what I needed.

Great for Stop Motion Movies
Bought these for my son who likes to make Lego stop motion movies. He's always complaining about getting consistent lighting for his films. These exceeded my expectations for the money. Very versatile with varying levels of brightness. The included colored filters added options to tone down straight white light. The tripods seem to be well made and allow for you to position the lights in virtually any direction or configuration. They are small and easy to position out of the way. My son seems to be very pleased with the results of his new movies using these as his main lighting sources. You will need to purchase USB power plugs separately, as they are not included with the lights.

Decent lights but the stands they come with are very very short
These keylights are perfect for streams if you maybe prop these up on books or you have a tiny monitor or a shelf or something you can plop these on because the stands that come included are puny. Other than that though these are very solid: the adjustability of the brightness is great so you could brighten it up if you move further away from where your camera is or lower it a bit if you get closer. You could stream with your room lights off if you wanted as these will brighten your whole room, very solid in that aspect. Now the LEDs aren’t adjustable in color as to be expected in this price range. The only options you have at changing the tone of the light are the colored plastic filters that come included with the lights. All in all would recommend if you don’t need lights that go above about 10-ish inches. Or if you’re crafty you could wall mount it like I did with a drill and the right size drill bit.

Great little lights
These budget lights seem pretty darn good value for money so far. Sure, when you take it out of the box and realise the cardboard packaging weighs more you might have some doubts about its robustness.. but they work great for general lighting for a camera. Given how thin the plastic is, I would probably say its not built for attaching to something that's going to be mobile with the chance it will get bashed about. I liked the mounting mechanism - a wheel you spin to tighten up the mounting so you don't have to spin the light itself. I wish more camera mounted accessories had this. I did not try the colour tint plastic sheets, but I did take out the white one briefly so changing them would be no issue. They are not secured inside the light as far as I'm aware (gravity does the work) - so another reason this probably is not a mobile lighting solution. The USB cables are not super long, but not too short that they're inconvenient. USB 2.0 extension cables are cheap as chips if you wanted to extend them anyway.

Fantastic for webcam
Love these lights, the price is great. Very small and neat footprint. I use them for video conferencing because my home office is well lit but all the light is behind me, and my computer screen would cause glare in my glasses. I got a ring light and tried all kinds of positions but it was just way too bulky to put anywhere on my desk. The lights -theyre very powerful but with the diffuser they dont blind me or anything -havent scientifically tested the color temperature, but im picky with white lights and these are very white, not much warmth to them. Looks like I'm in front of a window so pretty accurate daylight colour The stands -dont take up much desk space, easily put them on the corners of my desk -height is adjustable, they're not too tall though you won't be able to put them on the floor and expect eye level. But in my desk they're about 6 inches above my laptop webcam - I thought the height wasn't locking in, then realised you have to twist the pole to lock it into position, now it's great Power It comes with usb plugs, I have them plugged into a desktop usb charger (the multi port kind for charging your phone's), not into my laptop. Works great and looks clean Very satisfied with these, I can even move around a bit and not get any glare in my glasses when on video calls now. The look is very professional you could use these for your videography as well. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

Great value, bright portable lights for my small object photography projects
After reading some very mixed reviews I almost didn't buy these. So glad I did. These are small, lightweight but powerful, dimmable lights which are perfect for my table top photography projects. The tripods do their job in an indoors setting and you can tilt and turn to some degree. Obviously not as sturdy as heavier outdoor equipment but they are good value for what they are. I noticed some folks have marked them down for not being able to fit the coloured filters. The instructions are very poor and lacking in vital information. 1. The coloured filter MUST be inserted in front of the thicker white diffuser, 2. Each coloured filter has a protective film on both sides; you need to remove this otherwise the filters are too thick to slot in front of the white diffuser. I only noticed the protective film because an edge had lifted slightly and at first I thought the filter was damaged. I managed to remove the almost invisible film by gently scratching a corner with a pin until I was able to lift and peel away the film. Once this is removed they fit with no problem at all. The lights are dimmable and on the highest setting I certainly would not recommend you look directly at them. "Burns like the sun" comes to mind. All in all very happy with this purchase.
