Be Careful Not To Damage Your Wood Floors
A sturdy adjustable cane. Main problem is that the ice spike extended a quarter inch when fully retracted, and would dent wood floors. It is not adjustable so I had to remove the rubber tip and make holes in two felt pad feet of the proper diameter and put them inside the rubber tip so that it would not seat all the way. The spike still protrudes nicely when extended. Either the design or the quality control is poor.

Excellent cane1
I own many canes but find none to be as heavy-duty as this one, add the retractable ice spike which is perfect for icy conditins in my area (nrtern NH) makes it confidence inspiring.

Great product!
This is the 2nd adjustable ice cane I have used. The first one lasted about 6 years and I finally wore out the tip. I am very happy with this item.
