If your looking for a step up from cotton, breathable , lightweight, merino wool is amazing.. but as you will see other reviews it’s more delicate, that’s all merino wool btw .. soft like cashmere guys.. I run in in cold on delicate runs fine .. I run all my merino wool together same load don’t mix them , the tougher fabrics will grind into them in the wash .. but try one, you will love it .. and buy a dozen like I have.. merino tech is 1/2 price of other companies same quality.. just understand if your buying this , it’s because you want organic, no odor, ultra soft cashmere like feel, great look,.. breathable material better than cotton.

I bought these because a traveler blog said it was their first choice. I took a risk. Wow! I understand why now. Stuck in major rain storms on a trip. Washed these in a sink and left to dry overnight. Dry. Soft. Look great. We forget how durable and preferable 100 percent wool is.

Comparing this to icebreaker t-tech t-shirts, this is less expensive, softer, and a slimmer fit. I really like the softness, but am somewhat concerned about the longevity (hence the 4 vs. 5 stars). That said, I’ll give this a go for a few months and see how well it performs. My IceBreaker tees generally last 5-7 years before wearing out, but they have a thicker (and less soft) feel to them.Regarding the fit: This is similar to icebreaker’s “anatomica” style shirts, which are very form fitting. E.G., I can wear a regular medium t-shirt in most brands, but with the Merino.tech shirt - a medium is very form fitting (somewhere between an Under Armour compression and fitted shirt). For this reason, you may want to “try before you buy” or go up one size when you order.

I like the feel and fit of this well made shirt

Wearing this on a multiweek backpacking trip on the Camino. Warm, comfy and quick dry. Will buy more when I get home.

Shirt fits nice and is comfortable But a hole wore through from my pack first time ever wearing it.

I wore the shirt once and washed it in. Coldwater then laid it out to dry and noticed a hole in the back of the shirt. I’ve had other items from Marino Tech, and like them a lot. I researched returning this item, but was distressed to find out I had to pay eight dollars to do so For a defective item since I was not near UPS store. Not happy with Amazons take on this issue.

I am usually M and this is also okay for me as M. 186cm and 78kg fits very nicely and relaxed. Quality looks very good and stitches are all good. Will see how will be after wearing it for few days and washing it.
