It is a perfume.. not to be confused with the essential oil. This is far more viscous.It's my favorite. If you like to wear patchouli, this is the one for you; Use sparingly.

I love this oil, I have used this oil for decades and it remains the best! Same original scent. I love the earthy fragrance of Patchouli it is one of my favorite scents. If you love Patchouli you’ll love this one!

It's terrible it smells like straight alcohol!!! Its not oil at all!!! I want a refund!!

I was excited to receive this as I always used to use patchouli oil as perfume… and after reading reviews etc I decided on this one… I will say I’m a little disappointed in the scent, it is no where near as strong as what I used to buy. I liked the packaging of this etc but upon receiving I was super excited to try it but I can’t even smell it on myself nor does anyone else make a comment about it. Next time I think I will try another brand and compare.
