Q: Which country does this pearl come from?

A true black pearl comes from the french polynesian islands. This pearl is advertised as genuine tahitian and I have no reason to doubt that it is from that area.

Q: Is the gold plated or filled?

I dont know what you mean by "filled", are you referring to the pearl? The necklace is not gold plated. My wife is extremely allergic to things like that. I learned years ago when she got a rash so bad that you would think I bought a silver necklace for a vampire. She has had no reaction to wearing the necklace.
