What this is for: If your screen does NOT respond to touch gestures, you need this part. It will replace the touchscreen sensor (digitizer) and the LCD display. It does NOT replace the camera, speaker, or home button. You will need to transfer those from your old phone.Pros: Decent price, fast shipping via Amazon Prime, product as advertised, and it works. My phone works again, and that was what really mattered to me, above all else. If you need your phone working again, buy this product. If you want your phone to look like new, send it back to apple.Cons: It's not perfect. This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.1. I had to break off two of the three clips on the top of the screen to get it to seat properly on my phone shell, but this was probably due to installation error on my part. With one clip the phone still stays together tightly and I will not have a problem with it.2. There are two yellowish tinted blobs on the top right and left corners of the screen. May be installation error, but I was pretty careful with everything. I believe it is a screen defect. I am not seeking a return at this point because I cannot be without my phone any longer. The spots are only noticeable on white backgrounds, and only if you look at them. They are very faint and will not interfere with my work. There are no dead pixels or other dead screen regions.3. The home button feels "deeper". May be installation error. It works without a problem. It just feels like it's set deeper into the bezel than the previous one was.Installation:I bought these tools (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008CLO7Q2/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4) and watched this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkltRLdfYBs). Both were very helpful. Even though this digitizer replacement product comes with tools, I found the tools that I purchased seperately to be far superior. I won't review them here, but the screwdriver tips are magnetic, which is very helpful.Other tools needed: you'll need a razor blade, like the video shows, and a pair of sharp tweezers. Also, I taped a piece of duct tape to my work surface, sticky side up, to use as a holding pad for all the screws. This allowed me to lay the screws out in order and put them back in exactly where they came from.This was my first iPhone repair, and it took me about 45 minutes. I am pretty handy and I've done other electronic repairs on non-apple products (HP laptops mostly).**The bottom line**: It works. This will fix your phone. I recommend it for fast, necessary, cheap fixes. If you are a perfectionist, take your phone to an apple store and get an OEM replacement. It will be better, but it will cost three times more.

I ordered this product to replace the cracked glass on my iphone 5s. The digitizer on my old phone wasn't broken but I replaced it all just to be safeThis glass is slightly thicker than the original glass that came with my phone. This means the home button is slightly sunken in. It also seems darker and a little poorer quality than the original screen.That being said, I gave this product a 4 because the screen works great and I was easily able to fit all of the apple parts from my original phone where they were supposed to go. It's totally worth the minor differences to have my iphone screen back in working order.

I studied several pages of screen replacements for my 5S. $20 vs $70. Does it work? Does it fit? In the end I decided I wanted to go the cheapest route with a preponderance of positive reviews. This screen arrived in 2 days via Prime. It comes with tools. It's well packaged. It fits perfectly. It works perfectly. The home button does sit a little deeper, but no big deal. I recommend tweezers and a razor blade on top of the tools supplied. Study YouTube videos and go SLOWLY. Have a good work area, good light and organize screws and parts as they come off. I used tape to stick the little screws on. It's easier than an iTouch screen I replaced a while back.Addendum: I bought a second Flylinktech screen replacement for an iPhone 5 and had the same great experience. Screen fits and works perfectly.

It's a little scary opening up your phone, but after some youtube tutorials and about an hour and a half later the replacement worked great. It'n not that difficult, just very tedious and requires a somewhat steady hand and nimble fingers. This doesnt come with a front camera or home button, so you have to use the ones from your old screen.I just completed it about 15 minutes ago, and it works great. I've heard it's kind of hit or miss with replacement screens, (some you might have to send back til you get one that works...) but this worked the first time.If for some reason the screen starts acting funny, I'll let you know.Hopefully i dont need to replace me screen for a while, but for now, i would recommend this seller and screen to a friend.

I think that the product is exactly what you expect. The only problems I had were that the tools provided didn't really work. The screwdrivers were the wrong sizes and it helped that my husband has philips head screw drivers for his glasses. The video that came with the product was very helpful for someone with NO experience replacing a screen but the video had tools that the package didn't offer so there was some confusion. Overall did the job I needed I was very happy!

The screen came packaged nicely and the screen was very well protected. It also came with tools to fix the screen. The overall quality of the screen looks good. I noticed that the brightness wasn't as bright as the OEM screen but overall sharpness and colors look good. I can't attest to how the screen will do in the long run and how scratch resistant it is. Good screen for the price but not as good as a genuine Apple screen.

This would be a five star if the first screen was as good as the second one. First screen had a faulty frame but the second one was perfect. This seller was quick to replace and it was the best amazon purchase I have ever had. I recommend this seller and screen for the DIY.

The screen sticks out of the phone at the top. I know I installed it correctly, it is the defected screen. I didn't return it because everything else was fine. There are no lines on the screen and I would recommend this screen.
