this is a perfect MRE it has the full nutrition value of a meal but packed in a small delicious servingMy only question if anyone can answer is can it be removed from package a heated in a small pot? i don’t always have access to a microwave and pots are too small to fit the full package in

I had the chicken soup. I liked the taste but found it to be salty. Otherwise, it was okay. The matza balls were chewy. Not sure I would get it again.

I remember as a child that my grandmother always had a pot of Cholentz on the stove. Pretty much a chili made from leftovers and beans with an eastern European dusky flavor. Savory spices.This product was basically beans in gravy and a very small chunk of pot roast.The package said that there was kishka(stuffed derma) and kugel(a sort of fried potato cake) included. They must have missed my packages, there was only the beans and meat.The product is much smaller than the picture suggests.Considering the price charged this is not a good value at all.

I didn’t expect this to be all that good, it wanted something familiar during the holidays. It really was so much better than I expected and was really good. The huge piece of kishka was just like I make it myself. Excellent!

It's a quick & easy meal to fix via boiling water or via microwave.Besides being good, quick, tasty & filling. Good quick Kosher certified meals are not easy to find. Can find vegetarian & Dairy Kosher Certified meals but this "Beef Cholent" has real actual meat.Do not know what brand of kishka is used but it's good & tasty!!The whole meal is tasty & there is good portion & the container IS NOT half full.Have got before & will get again to have on hand for something quick to fix.

As far as MREs go, this one was pretty decent. I purchased the Beef Cholent & Kugel. I also tried the Cabbage Rolls. They were both pretty good, albeit a little on the salty side. The portions are good, and the food is very filling.

Your kosher food for travel!Close to your Hungarian Cholent (nothing beats your own balabuste's chulent, don't even try), easily packed and durable, was a big help during a trip to a place where no kosher food is available at all.
