Chinese Surplus Type 56 SKS Spring Sling Strap 2 Ends

Newest Type 56 imports apparently from Albania, wanted a period correct sling for my "Sino Albanian" /26\ . I have lots of SKS slings even an Albanian Russian style but thought this would look good on my 1969 veteran carbine. Typical Chinese, simple and strong although lots of loose thread ends I trimmed, metal is discolored but not rusty, springs have a little rust but fits right in with the 60% blue left of my rifle. Be aware the springs have sharp ends, on this rifle no big deal but I would never try to sling it to a pristine "new" SKS it's a little rough screwing them to the loops. There's debate whether these are actually mil issue but it's been reported that some Albanian 56-1 stocks show the spring scars so who knows. Happy with it.

Works fine post only strap pins on gun. It is NOS so is moldy. I washed it and dried it and it still smells. Only time will get rid of mold. Well made and springs make it a a cinch to put on gun. Definitely will get another one of these. I gave this as gift with other items related to it. He washed it two more times and said it was mold free after sun drying it the last time.

Fit on both type 56 sks and Ak rifles. Purchased four over the last couple years and none were moldy like some of the comments I’ve read. I will continue to buy as needed.

My had a little bit of rust on it, but nothing to serious. To attach it, you have to thread the springs onto the sling attachment. It was a little finicky, but I got it on without much issue. Also, the leather piece is to small to put the excess length through. That and the rust are why I'm giving it 4 stars

I decided to put it on my jianshe arsenal sks, looks pretty dang cool and does the job.

I was looking for a sling with the spring ends. The slings are good and serviceable. I bought two one was brand new the other looked like it had been in storage for years but no stains or smell just discolored springs. I will order a couple more while I can before they are gone they are great to use to replace the old worn out leather tabs and they can be used on a variety of rifles. The first two I ordered specifically for the spring ends. I put them on chicom slings I already had it's the same price for new leather ends or this sling with the spring ends.
