Perfect for velvitiser!
Great value for money! We have a velvitiser and the top up hot chocolate is so expensive, so I wanted an alternative and tried this stuff, worth it! Tastes great and is much cheaper! Recommended!

Only slightly Misrepresentation
The fact that the display weight is not easily visible and looking at the photo of the product I relied on the measurements stated clearly in the listing does not match what recently purchased.My photos show true amount in measurements.

OK with a shot of espresso
I purchased this to try as an alternative for my velvetiser. Its a couple of pound cheaper than hotel chocolats version. Now I don't consider myself a connoisseur of hot chocolate but I DO LOVE a hot chocolate. Firstly, these are more like the chocolate curls you sprinkle on ice cream than gratings of chocolate. Due to that, I added 30g (instead of the 35g used by Hotel Chocolats) to my velvetizer with the usual amount of milk and let my velvetiser go to work. When finished, the hot chocolate looked as you'd expect. Creamy, smooth and velvety. It had melted and mixed well. Unfortunately, the taste just wasn't there. Whilst it WAS smooth and creamy, it tasted like the chocolate you find in a 99p Advent calender. It far too sweet. That being said, I added a shot from my nespresso machine and that seemed to take the sweet edge off it. IMO, buy cheap by twice, but if you really need a sweet fix, this is for you.

Peanut and Nut risk!
I am sure these will make an awesome hot chocolate, but that is not primarily the reason I bought these. I opted for this brand because nowhere does it mention nut or peanut traces on amazon, nor does the FAQs outline this.So I am chuffed, as I have managed to find a decent hot chocolate for my kids who rarely get such treats.Yet on arrival, I have to explain to my kids that they cannot have their desired real hot chocolate because in fact they do have a peanut and nut risk in tiny writing stuck underneath on the bottom of the packaging, not easily identified where allergens are identified on the back label.So now I have both the dark and milk chocolate flakes which I will either drink in front of my kids who can't have them, or just give them away.Either way a big disappointment 😞

Absolutely delightful, worth every penny!
Wow I don’t often make proper hot chocolate but I want this everyday all day.So beautifully creamy, 2 options of instructions, I opted heating milk in saucepan then adding chocolate flakes. So simple, but the finished product is better than any coffee shop.Wonder if you do white chocolate?Thank you so much.

Great flavour
Really impressed with these. Milk chocolate flavour, smooth and sweet. Well definitely buy again. Highly recommended if you have a velvetiser and looking for an alternative

Really not worth the money.
Not worth the money no different to the powdered stuff also when I ordered it told me it was normal eating chocolate or for cooking but when it came it was drinking chocolate. Also very expensive for the size that comes.

One of the Best Hot Chocolates
I tried this because it has some decent reviews, but wasn't sure what to expect. As it turns out, it makes amazing hot chocolate. The flakes dissolve almost instantly, and there's none of the bitter aftertaste you often get with powder.The only reservation is that it's a little pricey for the quantity in the bag, but it's something I can overlook for how enjoyable it is. If you have a velvetiser or other decent milk frother, let it get going for a few seconds and then drop the chocolate flakes in. The result is an incredibly smooth and very satisfying drink.
