This was a great purchase. My son didn't end up using it as much as I expected, but at no fault of the punching bag. I actually found that I was having just as much fun playing with it, with him. It's surprisingly strong and durable, and can handle my adult punches (not full force, just playing with the kiddo). It's fun, and sturdy and built well. The gloves that come with it are basically useless, very cheaply made, and seem like a small step up from disposable. I wouldn't count on using them if you or your kid need gloves, but they aren't necessary to use the punching bag. It's been fun, and I'll keep it around to see if my son is more interested as he gets older. Recommend! Especially if you live in an apartment or small space and have a kid with a lot of energy.

Kids just started taekwondo and I got an inflatable kicking and punching bag which is terrible but this product is great. It has a secure base and won’t leak or get a hole punctured in it and the ball is great for kids to work on accuracy and precision.

Purchased for my child age 6. The size is nice I like that’s it’s adjustable for different heights & kids. The noise isn’t too loud but my son does use it outside. I think it’s decent for the money spent. If one of the older kids does punch it the the top pieces can come loose you have to screw everything very tight. Nothing has broke off or came apart while using but I do notice that pieces are loose after.

This punching bag was easy to assemble. I just had to put the poles together, insert them to the base, and screw on the bottom. The base does need to be filled to add weight. We filled it with sand. The punching bag screws on to the top pole. Sometimes it loosens up but all I need to do is tighten it up again. I didn’t really like the gloves, they don’t have much padding. The punching bag poles are like a spring so it does swing far when you punch it and can hit you if you’re not careful. Be sure to keep it somewhere where there is open space. My son has a lot of fun with this.

This was a great punching bag for my 7 year old grandson at first. He loved it.However, after using for about a week, the screw that held the pole to the bottom stand kept coming loose. I would have to tighten is almost every time it was used. After about 30 days, even after tightening, it would lean 20-25 degrees.Two months after delivery, a ring of plastic around the screw and washer broke off. The punching bag now leans over at more that a 45 degree angle and is unusable (see picture). I tried to return to Amazon, but the return period is only one month.I don't know if this one was defective. It is just too much money for only functioning about 30 days and only lasting 60 days.I left a message with the seller asking for a replacement. I will update if I hear back from the seller.

Fun for my 6-8 year olds and their friends. Keeps them busy. Ive seen them get pretty rough with it and it still take a beating. 1 star off durability for the top ball routinely comes loose / unscrewed. I regularly make sure the ball / punch bag and screwed on tight as I walk by. We keep ours in the garage / drive way for outside play time. I tell the kids to go punch it 100 times each as a game. Or tell them to set a 5 minute timer and see how many times they can get in a punch. Keeps them busy and helps hand - eye coordination, strength, speed , agility, etc.

I purchased this item for a 4 year old and did not read any of the reviews until after I ordered the product. After I read the reviews I thought that I had made a mistake and expected the worst.When we received it, I was skeptical but when I opened the package and assembled same I was surprised by the quality of the product.It should be noted that this punch bag is designed for little children- not older children or adults. The product has stood the test of time for such toys for an active 4 year old. It has been a hit (pun intended)!

My son gas always wanted a punching bag but I didn’t want one where you had to use sand/ water to sturdy it so when I say this, I thought perfect. First fees days were okay but then it started coming loose and we had to keep tightening.
