I had no idea how to do a ballet bun so for recital this thing was a life savor. If I can learn to do it, anyone can! Love that it comes with different sizes so no need to guess which size and can be used a good while.(If you purchase hair nets the color of the hair and wrap, twist, repeat the bun will stay a ful recital without budging.

I have a job where I can't have my hair in my face and was looking for a different way to do my buns to give my hair a break from hair ties. The only issue I have is my hair is really thick and the only thing I can actually use is the biggest donut bun maker. I can't use the snap things because it won't hold my hair and snap in the circle shape because of the thickness. I tried using the loop pull through things but the plastic is really thin and they both snapped in half when I tried. I'm sure this would work great for thin hair but if your hair is thick, def look for something else.

I know everyone says they come super flat but mine didn’t maybe the seller listened to everyone’s concern.They are perfect! I need this for my daughter ballet class and she has short hair I attached the length of her hair for reference yes you can tell the stuff if kind of cheap BUT…Like someone said you get what you pay for and it works perfect for me because my daughter’s hair is so straight and smooth her hair is thick too and has lots of it.In my opinion it was a good price definitely scored. The only thing is I don’t know how to use some of this other stuff but I’m going to use social media to help me haha problem solved

First of all I am usually a very positive responder to sending ratings....but this one did not even begin to meet the lowest standard I have. The two metal bands to place in a bun -- only lasted twice each. Then they became unusable because metal kept rolling up to where you could not control them. The plastic is very cheap and flimsy on the pony tail pull throughs. The bobby pins were okay and I'm still using those. The 3 piece bun donut maker --- well let's just say very UNflexible to where I couldn't use them at all. I have shoulder length hair that I have been pulling back for months now...I was hoping that this product was going to provide a more sturdy updo----- I was wrong. Will not be purchasing this item again.

Listen!! I cannot do my own hair to save my life. No matter how many YouTube videos I watched and how simplified it was, I just could not get my bun right. I'm on my level up journey and my hair is one factor holding me back a lot. I got these for the doughnut shaped ones, I haven't even used the others and let me tell you, I say without reservation, apart from cerave and my koji soap, this is really the best thing I've gotten from Amazon. A complete game changer. I use the small one for when I'm home, the medium for work and honey, I'm using the large one for dates when I want to look cute and classy. Are customers really complaining about them being shrunk when they are shipped? Just give them 2 squeezes and they fluff right up back! What's there to complain about? Value for money and easy to use. Thank you seller, I can now do a go to cute hairstyle.

My three-year-old is about to start dance lessons and as a requirement, hair must be in a bun so I needed to find a product that would make it easier for me to style. There was a lot to choose from on amazon. After looking through a lot of products, I decided on this one for a few reasons..1) my daughter has short, thin hair so I needed something small enough that would work with her hair and this set offered a smaller sized donut (smallest I could find). 2) This kit seemed to offer a larger variety at a lower cost than the others and 3) it was the only kit I could find that didn't have brown or black elastics with a kit meant for use with blonde hair. I know the elastics with this kit are white, but that's much closer to her hair color than the darker elastics seen with other kits. I just received this today and haven't used it yet so I can't speak much on ease of use and durability. I do wish a sheet of instructions had been included so I would know what/how I'm supposed to use the tools that are included. It came semi - vacuum packed so the package wasn't completely flattened. It was however vacuum-packed enough that the donuts were smooshed almost flat and look more like a cleaning sponge. You can't actually see the center where you would pull the hair through (due to them being smooshed). I've been trying to play with them by pulling the centers open a little bit and pushing around the sides attempting to make them fuller so they look like they should. Also, my kit only had one elastic included with it. Which normally I wouldn't mind, but it is upsetting that the two main reasons I decided to order this specific item was because of the elastics and three donut sizes and it was the two things that were wrong/defective with this kit. I'm pretty realistic with my expectations and know that for a lower price I will get a lower quality item so I didn't have high expectations to start. However, this wasn't even close to meeting minimal expectations. I am okay with lower quality items, but I still expect that when I receive what I pay for that the items will be useable. I'm kind of bummed out and wishing I would have gone with one of the other options I looked at because now I have to order again anyway and I could have saved myself time & money. I attached a second picture after trying to shape the donuts. The two bigger sizes I was able to reshape pretty well, but with the smallest one not much improvement was able to be made. Hopefully, when I go to use it, it will work as it's supposed to and form its own natural shape with use (fingers crossed anyway). Oh! and something I noticed when taking the second picture that I didn't notice with the first is that the comb looks like it has been bent and messed with. It has a big curve and is misshapen, as are the teeth. Again, not a huge deal because these combs are really only worth anywhere from ¢50 - $3. Normally small variances and minor issues aren't a big deal to me, but with this particular product, all of the "minor" defects affect the main components of the kit rendering it useless. Overall, I am unhappy with this order and I don't feel like the item description and pictures represent the actual product received. I would recommend passing this product up and ordering something similar elsewhere.
