We like these so much this is the second time we are ordering them! They are very sharp, fit in the hand perfectly and the spring action is a lifesaver (well joint saver anyway) they are even recommended by the Arthritis Foundation. We don't have arthritis but if you do a lot of pruning or trimming you too will see the benefits and the time you save using these. They have plastic caps for the sharp points when storing. The only thing we had a slight problem with was the orange plastic piece used to lock them closed, it kept slipping down and locking when holding them upside down while trimming but this was easily solved by putting a tiny piece of clear tape on the track preventing it from locking in place. We didn't realize how helpful these would be until last year and won't ever go without them again. We clean them after each use and they are like new, buying more because some have disappeared not because they fell apart or anything bad.

I got these pruners to help out one of my friends who had a lot of garden that needed pruning. These little slippers work great, stay sharp, and keep your hands from getting too tired. When material from the plants built up on the blades it was easy to clean them off with a little alcohol. All in all, the price of the two pack is cheaper than any other pruners this quality I have found in the store. My only gripe is that the blades are straight and would be more suited to pruning if they had a slight bend to them.When not in use the thumb-slide lock keeps the blades closed and the sharp tips can be covered with the provided rubber sleeves. I was able to cut stems up to about 1/4" with these although they are suited for cutting stems that are slightly smaller.

I've recently taken up rag quilting, where you need to snip the edges of the fabric at all seams to allow it to fry and 'rag'. It was recommended that I get some sort of spring-loaded snips rather than scissors, and I'm sure glad I did! Being the frugal person that I am, I shopped around for snips that I thought might do the trick without spending the higher price for those found in the sewing department specifically for rag quilting.I haven't tried the other types so I can't compare how one works vs the other, but I can tell you that these snips do the job well, and I would buy them again. They were a good price, and even better at two pair of snips at that price.

The pruners I received were not the titanium edge ones shown in the pictures. I was very disappointed to open this package and not see what I was expecting.

Love these small pruners. They are very sharp and make it easier to snip in those tight places. However, i would have given it 5 stars if the first pair I had would have lasted longer. The little plastic spring broke in the first couple months of use. I still use them, they are still very sharp, but I have to put my finger between the handles to force them open after each snip. Maybe this pair will last longer.

Good Product I've bought many pairs and will buy more. the scissors are normal metal color these ones in the picture look like something different almost gold looking blades it confused me at first, but i ordered anyways and they are the one i wanted. I will also mention i eventually broke 2 springs from excessive use and the company sent me a package of new replacement springs free of charge.

I never buy anything other than Fiskars Scissors. In my office, Kitchen, or Garden.
