Tim Holtz Idea-ology Thrift Shop Ephemera Pack, 54 Count

I am a huge Tim Holtz fan and have used his products for many, many years. His ephemera packs are a dream, especially when you don't have any real authentic vintage ephemera on hand. The thrift shop pack wasn't available at my local craft store so I'm glad I found it here. Yes, Tim Holtz items are pricey. However, I'm willing to pay for something so gorgeous with superb printing and quality. These will be perfect for my journaling.

These are made of a thin cardstock like paper. I assume they are meant for scrapbooking or card making. I am using them for art. All of the pieces are vintage inspired and range from old photos, and stamps to small novelty signs. They are small. Some very small about half an inch and the largest a few inches. But nothing over 6 inches. I would buy them again they are a great value over craft stores but if your looking for them to be large they are not and have duplicates but I don't mind either.

Great variety of small images. I knew from the reviews some were quite small. The only disappointment was 6 or 7 brown badges. There were a lot more images I would have preferred to be duplicated. The picture does a good job at depicting them. the are quality card stock with rather small images. Even after reading the reviews I expected them to be a little bit bigger. Just realize they are small but definitely worth it. Now that I'm familiar with Tim Holz, I will know more what to expect as far as color and look. I can think of 100 uses for these. If you like crafting purchase them. You'll find something to use them for.

Another fantastic collection of ephemera from Tim Holtz. Even though his style, a bit of masculine mixed with vintage, is omnipresent in all of his products, it never gets tired and it really timeless. The paper and print quality is superior and can hold up to plenty of stuff being brushed, sprayed, sanded, coated, etc., on it. I used some of these in covering a composition book taking it from boring to exciting in a matter of hours. The hardest part of working with these pieces is deciding which ones to use!

Tim Holtz has created an awesome collection of reprinted ephemera for use in paper projects. There is a however a fatal flaw too often in the delivery of these tiny pieces of paper. The plastic bag they come in will split and spill all these wee pieces into the shipping packaging, with some falling out in transit. The tiniest of them can even escape through the hole meant for hanging the package on a store shelf.All this having been said, the world is a big bad place and a few escaped minutia will not change your life for the worse. If it is important to you to get every scrap you paid for then expect to be shorted in every few shipments of these Tim Holtz ephemera packs.The product is delightful and inspires creative thinking as you look at a piece and figure out how you're going to use it in your project.

I love the bits and pieces of nostalgia that were in every package of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Ephemera Packs that I have purchased. Such a great addition to my mixed media paintings! I have even gotten some for my daughter who creates gorgeous junk journals. Having 54 pieces in each package is great! The whole Idea-ology series is well worth the money and I am still creating with them. I highly recommend these packages to anyone who wants to add some interest, vintage or themed pieces to any artistic creation.

These are too cute. I love the many different designs this pack has to offer. I love Tim Holtz Idealology designs. Always has the best products for steampunk. I looked in our brand name store and some of the prices are actually higher than here on Amazon. Plus with the free Prime Shipping, really helps. I don't have to leave my home.The pack appears to be a good quality product. Interesting designs to use. Can't wait to incorporate them into my steampunk projects.

Just as I expected and better! Lots of selection of papers! Definitely worth it and they came in about two weeks I believe. So excited to use these in my journals! You can read the print on them. I also like that they are a papery texture. Not a sticky back type of decal btw!
