This topper adds the soft pillow comfort, without compromising my firm mattress. Makes it more comfortable for my hips and back. It’s the perfect thickness for me. I do fluff it up and rotate it at least once a week. A few feathers come out once in a while, but nothing to sneeze about! There is no prickling from the feathers. Seems to be well made, and of good quality materials.

This is by far the BEST feather baffle I have ever had. It fluffs up beautifully. It is comfortable ... actually dreamy! It stays securely on the bed, it is well made and priced well. Thanks for such a great product!

Like any other goldilocks, I have been looking for the perfect mattress my whole life. This isn't it. But, it does make my rather hard mattress work pretty darned good. I am a stomach sleeper and prefer a harder mattress, but when I move to my side in my sleep, my mattress is too hard for comfort and my hips complain loudly. This lovely down stuffed mattress pad means I can now sleep in both positions with comfort. ah, Just right.

I wanted to love this but no dice. Honestly, it feels like Im laying on a couple comforters. Maybe the material of the shell is so stiff and crunchy that it keeps from the silky, "on-air" feel that I was searching for. I could lay on my $175 cashola in return more comfortably. It's mmeehhh!

EDIT: This is going back, makes the bed too firm. Not enough give.Runs a bit small. Quality is good, except feathers aren't choice picking and the stems can be felt a bit. Those stems cause some noise, too. All in all, this gets a 9 out 10 so far.

I have had two down topped feather beds in the past that were both purchased from Herbergers, I loved them, they were soft, very full and wonderful to sleep on. I decided to purchase this one because it looked very similar in the photos to the ones I had owned in the past. However this topper is nothing like the others I had. It is very thin, very uncomfortable and after only two nights sleeping on it, it seems to be impossible to fluff back up. The ones I had in the past, I would fluff when I changed sheets about once a week but it really didn't need to be done for the topper to stay fluffed and cozy. I will say that the cotton cover on the feather bed seems to be very high quality and you do not feel any feathers through it at all.

California King featherbed is incredibly comfortable. There is no foul order upon opening the package, or when placed upon the mattress. Very nice quality and I am quite pleased with my purchase. One thing I did notice is it is not as “plump” as demonstrated in the photos. Overall 5 star rating.
