Good quality construction. Magnets hold the lid down securely yet it is still easy to open. Uses miniature hinges which are held in place with screws (not nails). Very sturdy and capable of holding a considerable amount of weight with no difficulty at all. I added a sheet of stick-on felt on the bottom but it wasn't really necessary. The bottom is very smooth and wouldn't scratch a table top. I recommend this product. Also, I had a problem with late delivery due to COVID-19 but the seller did everything possible to make sure I received my order as soon as possible. They really cared and took the time and effort to do what they could to make it right for me. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Needed something to hide small items away from curious pup - worked out well

Love this box! I needed a place to store small odds and ends in my master bedroom closet. I bought this box because it looked practical online and was the right size. When it arrived I was thrilled -- it greatly exceeded expectations! Not only is it study and well built, but I love the look and design so much that I decided to place it where everyone who visits can see it (I’ll order a second one for my closet.) The box has clean, contemporary lines and a smooth, rich finish. Its perfect! I think it would complement any style décor.

Well built box. The hinges are acceptable quality for a box in this price range. Very sturdy, magnet closure is nice. But came with fairly heavy scratches in the front, but I was going to paint it anyway so it wasn’t a big deal.

I was highly disappointed with this box. The bamboo used to construct the box is nice as well as the color, I thought the finish could have been a little bit heavier to add durability, It seemed a bit between a satin and a matte finish.However, the issue I had with this item was the lid. The lid, was misaligned and poorly attached. It was very noticeable and feeling the box, and pretty obvious looking at it once you are aware of it.The hinges also felt cheap and made it feel like it wasn't really that durable. Although I think the magnets installed in the lid were pretty good.If this was something you built in wood shop it would be a c+, and I'm not joking The box I created in wood shop when I was 12 years old was better quality than this and it was my first and only try. (I still have that box btw, still in use 44 year later)If they use some quality hardware for the hinges, and took the time to properly align the lid for a smooth flush fit this would probably be a pretty good box.

I bought this box to store essential oils. It's a perfect size for a small-medium collection, and it's tall enough for the oil bottles to stand up. I like the low-profile of the box. I had originally purchased an "unfinished" box, but I prefer this lightly varnished bamboo. Perfect for keeping some special items.

I had to return the first one as it arrived with a crack on the top. The replacement arrived quickly thereafter. It has a beautiful, well finished, minimalist design and is an elegant way to store any random items that you carry (wallet, keys, assortment of masks) while keeping your table and counter tops organised and uncluttered.
