EXCELLENT & BEST THERE IS!
I have not even received this item from Amazon yet, BUT I have used it for many years. Compared to all other pool patch products out there, this one tops them all. If you have a small hole or a rip up to 1-2 inches, just squeeze out of the tube and apply like putty. Feather the edges and it works like a charm (underwater or above). I live in an area with shifting soil and have a vinyl liner in-ground pool. I have had many instances -- from vinyl rips (though few), to cracks in fiberglass pool steps, to underwater lights leaking (for which I need to replace the gasket) -- but in the meantime, this product works like a charm. Believe me, I have been around a while and am a long-time pool owner -- there IS NO BETTER PRODUCT for pool repair when it comes to water leakage. And that goes for leakage around the pool pump/filter as well. I have used it there and again -- works much better than silicone caulk and lasts a long time. (NO - I am not being paid to promote this product -- just an old guy who has been around the block trying different pool patch products; In fact, this is the FIRST review I have ever written).

Works!
This stuff really works. I use it on my my above ground pool. It works under water the best.

I did not find this product able to stick on a wet surface. I tried many times
I did not like this product. It did not work on a wet surface which is why I bought it. I tried to patch a scratched auto pool cover. It only worked if it was dry. Also, The tube ended up opening at the bottom and most of the product was lost. I do not recommend at all. It does not do what it says.

Give this a try
I used this product in conjunction with the provided vinyl patch. I have a root that put a hole in my pool liner and putting a traditional patch was not working. By balling up the repair sealant to cover the hole and appling the patch over it made the surface flat enough to make a good seal to patch the hole. I have not had any water leak from the pool in over two weeks now. I would highly rate this item for stubborn leaks that traditional patches may not fix.

Works quite well
Having used a number of patch solutions, I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is the best one I've found. It's a thick, rubbery paste that does not try to fall apart underwater as you're moving it into position. On little pinpoint holes, you can pretty much just put some on a fingertip and press it into little holes and get a good seal, on larger holes, using this on a vinyl patch in place of whatever cement they give you makes for a much better solution. Goes on thick, gives you a couple minutes to get it into good position, leave a weight on top of it if you're using it with a patch on a larger hole, and you'll have a good seal. Quite happy with this product.

This is the best
I have an old above ground pool and it is on it's last legs. However, I can't replace it right now and I have been using this product for the last couple of years to repair holes/tears in the liner. Super easy to work with and it holds great. Make sure to order this size and not the tiny one for almost the same price.

Works!
We had a small tear in bottom of liner on above ground pool and was able to fix it using this material. It worked great.Suspect the tear came from the pool vacuum head which after close inspection showed the bristles were attached with hard plastic channels. If you push hard enough it seems you could tear or score the liner with the edge of one of the sharp channels that attach the bristles to the vacuum head. The vacuum I had before did not have this issue as the bristles were molded into the head. No problem if you don't push hard, but certainly seems like this could have caused it as I sometimes would push hard to remove algae. You may want to check your vacuum head for this condition to avoid potential for tearing.

not enough patch
I just received this item and have not used the glue yet. But I paid $25.00 for this product and it came with barely 10" of patch. The patch material is very cheap in price and at $25.00 it should come with at least 2' of patch.
