Great build and looks beautiful!
Easy to install, the battery life could be improved. But the light is absolutely beautiful. Perfect size and good quality build. It’s it direct sunlight to charge for 6-8 hours a day. Even had in full sun for a few days as per instructions. The company responded quickly with multiple options of making it right. That’s 5 stars in itself.

Luctec London Solar lights over 3 yrs. old withstand 150 mph hurricane winds
Let's start with this: I do not generally leave reviews, but this light is high quality, and I would give it 10 stars if possible. I bought my 1st one three years ago, my second one two years ago, and this year I have purchased three more and plan on buying five more. All the lights work flawlessly, and the oldest running light is over three years old. I have never had to even change the solar battery. These lights produce over 300 lumens and are beautiful. We live in North Florida, and they went through 5 hurricanes in one year. We took direct hits and lost a lot. The Hurricanes took down and destroyed over 200 trees, five buildings, and one car on our property, and the lights stood the storms. I'm so happy with all the purchases of the Lutec Lights. You won't be disappointed! I bought decorative flower pots that look like whiskey barrels at Lowes and poured three 60lbs. bags of Sakrete for the perfect base. These allow you to move if needed, easy to clean glass, and they did not blow down in 150 MPH winds from all the hurricanes.

Very Durable and Still Bright after Four Years
I purchased two of these over 4 years ago for a new patio and the performance has exceeded my expectations. Unless we've had a few consecutive dark stormy days, the lights are bright and stay lit until the sun comes up. No problems ever. Obviously, placement is important relative to the sun's arc but these have always been in partial sun. The 360 degree coverage of the solar collectors is a huge design advantage. Never had to replace batteries or do any maintenance. Highly recommended.

Bright, Not Stable, Overall Good
Overall this was worth it. We wanted a bright solar light, and most lights are the market are dim (and don't stay bright for long). This is bright for 2 hours after dark, and is still lit at midnight. For comparison the neighbor's solar lamp is dim right away, and is entirely out by midnight.Pros:Brightness (for a solar lamp).Duration (for a solar lamp). It's solar, so no need to wire it up.Cons:Pain to assemble the base without help (but possible). If you live in a rocky area (northeast), drilling it into the ground just won't work. The "drill" piece is plastic. You will need to dig a hole, refill, and pack.If not using concrete, not very stable. I was able to stabilize it using large rocks and bricks laying around. It wobbles if pushed, but is otherwise stable enough it's been fine in 20+ mph winds.Cloudy days mean absolutely no light. It would have been nice to have a battery backup option.Having the flexibility to put a lamp on the other side of the driveway without wiring it up has been nice. Would buy again.

Great Buy!
Bigger than I thought, plenty of light, works from Sundown to Sunup. Heavy Duty, well worth the price.

Exceeded Expectations!
Arrived fairly quickly from Amazon. Took about 30 minutes to assemble (lamp itself). The ground installation took a little longer though. The ground installation time will depend on the type of soil you have. The lamp itself is exquisite. I was truly shocked at the HIGH quality of this product. The only issue I can foresee is the possible difficulty in getting a replacement solar battery if the need ever arises. You can only purchase it from the manufacturer directly. When I checked their site, the battery was currently unavailable. Outside of this possible hiccup, the light post is great and it works like a charm. On a full charge, it stays illuminated anywhere between 6 hours to 8.

Very bright light (300 lumens) but charges do not last as long as costco's
First, I love the brightness of this light 300 lumens. However, the charges do not last as long as the one I purchased from Costco which is the same model. The same one from Costco battery lights up from 5pm to 4am (11hrs) in SoCAL during this month of November. However, this one only lights from 5pm to 11am (6hrs). I suspect the battery maybe old or they substituted cheaper brand of battery. Other than they looks very nice. It is a reason why I gave it a 3-star, could have been a 5-star. Plus, the one from Costco came with a pole , this one does not and they cost the same price. I first bought the one from Costco for $20 less when it was on sale last year. But now Costco is not selling them anymore.
