Very useful
What I liked:*Nicely organized cool colors like purples to the front, a section for neutrals/earth tones, a section of pastels, and warm colors toward the end.*The colors do look good together. For example on the cover, purple and pink are analogous and yellow is complementary to purple, so those would work together based on color theory.*Plenty of selection. 700 is a lot. What I would improve:I'm a watercolorist and like to note my colors when planning my paintings, to refer to later when actually painting. The author does not have a way to refer to the color schemes. There are no page numbers or scheme numbers. (The hex numbers refer to the individual colors, and are used over and over. They are not unique.) I'll have to number everything myself.

Fantastic Color Palette Reference!
I wasn't sure what to expect from a self-published color palette reference, but I was delighted with this book! The colors translated very well to the laser printing used, and the sizes of the printed swatches is just right. I'm a fiber artist, and the hex codes given for each color means I can easily reproduce the color in my dyes. I'm dismayed by some reviews that complain about hex codes; anyone who works with color knows you can easily covert a hex code to CMYK or RGB....Photoshop does it! And there are countless FREE online converters. I work with CMYK percentage values in my dyeing...this book is fabulous...if you know how to work with color!

Nothing but color schemes
This book has nothing init but three and four color schemes. It is a thin book, easy to carry to stores for color selecting. There is a hex number associated with each but nowhere in the book does it say what they represent, for example Pantene, computer, etc.

What do color schemes and the dentist have in common???
Exactly what I wanted with a surprise bonus! So, the book I received had about 600 color schemes and a surprise animated chapter about the dentist in the middle of the book to break up the monotony. I feel much more confident about my next dental exam

Chaotic mess
There isn't any organization, categorizing, or titles just a random mess. Colors are dull. You would be better off using a color compliment app.
