The Ideal Bartender Paperback – June 6, 2013

I liked the stories and recipes inside of the book but the only part which lost me was measuring drink recipes in "parts" . The book is amazing and I am a fan.

I love the recipes and the older ingredients. It's just not done this way anymore. Holiday drinks will never be the same again.

I bought this expecting a book about being a better person as a bartender in a beer/wine establishment. Instead it is mostly drink recipes. Still looking for a book about getting better tips and building clientele. Drink recipes are free online now.

Very informative on classic libations.

A good reference on the mind of a old school bartender. Craft is everything and this book has a lot of it.

Old drinks from the past you can't find the things they ask for anymore in a lot of them.
