Authentic Acoustic - SP - Phosphor Bronze Custom Light ( 11-52 ) - LIMITED ( 3 FOR 2 )

Just gave my Epiphone a full clean and restring with these, tuned up and hit a chord and I’ve never heard my guitar sound so full and resonate. I can’t comment on their longevity, but I would happily pay for new strings every month to have my acoustic sounding this good. (Acoustic is an epiphone J45 studio, formally known as the AJ220) I also use a Fender sound hole pickup (the wooden one), which I highly recommend for anyone wanting to turn their acoustic into an electro acoustic. There’s none of that horrible electro acoustic twang when plugged in, instead it sounds like a mic’d up acoustic. Only downside is that it’s quiet than a normal electro acoustic, but thats an easy fix with more volume, so I’ll take that over the horrible electro twang any day.

I use martins Sp strings for a better quality of play, particularly if recording. You are not expected to keep the strings on guitar for years so they do the job what you want for the time you need. I change mine regularly, particularly through gigging too. I use Martin guitars (my favourite) and would be quite fussy what I use. I prefer light weight when I play also. 3 packs for this price is decent. Box was damaged as photos show.

Bought these to restring an electro acoustic Tanglewood being used by a new learner. These are good value for money! There is a marked difference in the sound quality with these when compared to the original strings, a nice rich sound!!! And they come in a pack of 3 sets, so definitely value for money!

I play regularly and these seem to have a long life. They have a warm, bright sound. They also have reasonable attack on either picking or strumming. Also sustain is good but dies quickly as the string wears

I have tried numerous strings but found that Martin really give me the tone and brightness I like. Tried different Martin strings , they are all really good but this set of three is good value . I play live so change strings often and have never been disappointed with Martins.

Great picking strings, the older the guitar the better they sound. New guitars sound tiny (unless they are hugely exensive), older guitars from the 70's have nicely matured wood and the strings sound great. You can really play gently and it sounds great.

Still working ok they’ve been on the guitar for about 3 weeks now still sound good no problems.

円安のせいか最近輸入弦の値段がすごく上がってしまいました。 （モノによっては倍以上になってますね） Martinの弦もいつの間にかマイナーチェンジしていて、以前の金色の弦はなくなってしまったのはちょいと残念で、ダダリオやダルコに浮気していたりしましたが、結局はMartinの弦に戻ってきました。 やはりMartinの弦は定番だと思います。 安いギターは安っぽい音、高いギターは高級な音がするので。 もう一つの定番、ダダリオのライトゲージ（EJ16）は3弦6弦が細いのでフラットピッキングには合わないし、EZ920は高音が良くない・・・ そのうちにEJ19も試してみようかと思いますが、しばらくはこちらのMartin弦を使いそうです。 ※なお、使用ギターはMartinのHD28-VとCat's EyesのCE-1500です。 指引き用のFURCH G23CRにはダダリオのEJ16を張っています。
