This book (along with my bible) has singlehandedly revolutionized my perception, attitude, and approach towards marriage and relationships! I gifted two copies to my sister and her childhood best friend who are both engaged to be married and they LOVE IT!!! Of course, I picked up a copy for myself. I mean, it's only right lol. Every single devotion has rattled my preconceived notions about loving selflessly, resolving conflict in a loving manner, and simply doing marriage WELL! If you want to invest in the single most important relationship you'll have on this side of heaven (second only to your relationship with Christ Jesus) then get your copy STAT! You won't regret it - I promise!!! I'm gifting the power of prayer books to all of my engaged friends - men and women alike!

I really enjoyed the book Power of a Praying Wife and when I saw they had a devotional I had to get it! I have truly enjoyed the prayers and the scripture references. It is so important for wives to stand up for our men and stop letting the devil manipulate our emotions. We cannot live in our emotions. We have a responsibility to our husbands everyday. I feel like these books give women a vital tool in keeping our homes Godly and being the best we can be, not only as a wife but as a woman. I highly recommend getting this book and the book Power of a Praying Wife for every wife you know! I have been through such terrible times in my relationship but through this book the Lord really did a great work and brought such beauty out of the ashes we had made. I am so thankful for Stormie and I pray she keeps up her series of The Power of a Praying for years to come, as the Lord reveals more to her.

I love this book which I have on Kindle. It's simply organised so you can go to a theme or work through it methodically. The text is biblically based - always a good thing - and the prayers are sincere and go to the heart of the matter. It helps if you're in a good marriage or if you're struggling in areas of your relationship. It can be worked through again and again and is a joy to have. And you can spend time meditating on a certain verse or issue that touches you or read through quickly at the start of the day.I use it as well as the prayer book power of a praying wife.

I love this book. I've had it for years and read it every chance I get. It's broken down nicely so you can read little chapters based on what's going on in our husbands life, or what we think might need prayer. It's a great wedding gift, a great "just because" gift, etc... I've gifted so many. It's good for any wife - regardless of age, number of years married, young or older. She has other books - Power of a Praying Husband (my hubby received this in his stocking one year :) ), Power of a Praying Parent (AWESOME) etc...HIGHLY recommend these books!(not getting paid for this review)

A very good and helpful guideline for praying for my husband. And for a relatively newly wed young woman it really helps to notice that the reasons for worry, fear or anger are reasons that other women struggle with as well. What a relief! ;)
