This book is an excellent early learning material
Bill Martin Jr and Eric carle have created a masterpiece. This book is an excellent early learning material. Various endangered animals have been illustrated in vibrant bold colours. The text is repetitive and that is a plus for early learners. There are other variations too ie., brown bear and polar bear. Each book features different animals . So in case you plan to buy the other variations it'll not be repetitive. One can teach about colours , animal movements , make animal sounds and add so much to make it an interesting narrative.A special mention of endangered animals makes this book intelligent and cute .

Wonderful
Wonderful book for young babies. My 5 month-old son loves it already, along with the other books of this series (we read it along withBrown bear and polar bear). The format is also great as he started turning pages with these board books.

Awesome book. My kid loves it very much. She loves the whole series of Eric Carle books and in fact we all love it. She loves the Brown Bear Brown Bear book very much too.. She loves to look at the animals pics. She even recognizes few animals because of the book.I am very happy with the book.

Another good read in the series
My son, a toddler, really likes the books in the Bear series (Brown, Baby and Panda). The reason I got all these is because each book introduces a creature and an action along with it. He picks these up quite fast. The artwork as usual is really good and the introduction to the creatures is interesting as usual. The book is kid friendly and can be easily browsed by tiny hands. For my kid, the fun lasted for about 6 months after which he started seeing a pattern and got bored. He has now started showing interest in longer stories where characters start interacting. If you are new to the series then I do suggest you begin with the Brown Bear.
