I had been looking for matching cremation boxes for 2 of my cocker spaniels. My SIL made their parents urns, but it was too depressing to make anymore. Those matched, so I wanted their sons to match, and look similar to their parents. These do. I ordered 2. Big brother has already crossed the Bridge, and I have one ready for when the youngest one does. I ordered the plaque from Esty and love it. These urns are the perfect size for a beloved cocker spaniel, and very well made of real wood. The carving is beautiful. 💙🩵

This is a beautiful urn and I purchased it for our beloved guinea pig who recently passed. It’s a great size and was easy to open, but still seems secure to hold the ashes. The size I chose is perfect for a small pet (rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, etc.) but definitely get a size up if you’ve got a larger animal.

I am one of those people who keeps the ashes of their pets. My dogs are not just my dogs, but my children. People with actual human children may read this and think I am nuts, but I am a 44 year old married woman who decided quite a long time ago that I wanted to live my life with my husband and a couple of dogs at all times and treat those dogs like absolute stars until the end of their lives. When one of our dogs dies I grieve and it helps me to move on by having said dog cremated and then have their ashes nearby.Usually when we get the ashes of one of our beloved dogs (over the last 20 years we have been through this 5 times) returned to us they come in a decorative metal or wood urn. The first dog we had, however, about 19 years ago, this was not standard practice, so he came back to us in a bag. A standard zip top plastic bag. This dog, Olive, was so special to me, that I immediately moved him from the plastic bag to a flannel bag (not recommended by the way) and then put the whole bag in a special urn I had a potter friend make for him. Fast forward to last week when the lid to the urn cracked.I looked online and realized I wanted an urn that sort of matched the others I had already and my husband preferred the wood variety. This urn works, but it does run a little small. We ordered the medium size because we have another dog who weighed about 70 pounds and he fit in a different wooden urn that measured the same. Olive was the same size as Franks, but it was an extremely tight squeeze. I would size up if I had to order again. I think the pull out drawer style slide on the bottom has something to do with sizing. I could be wrong.The only thing I would change is the slide opening. It is not the sturdiest and I was worried it was going to break. I know I am probably never going to open or close it ever again, but having a super easy way to open this - especially with an URN - would be much better.Would I buy this brand again? Absolutely. I would size up though.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The bottom slides out - it's quite a snug fit but I had no problem and actually appreciate it fits tight. The bottom wood slider looks like a piece of hardboard with a wood end piece. Don't let that fool you, it is VERY sturdy with no flex and the end piece is attached strongly. I deducted 1 Star because although the box arrived in a light protective brown 'wrapping' paper, I did not receive any bag as indicated in the product picture.

These boxes are gorgeous and a great value. Customers love them for pet ashes. I use a laser engraver to add a pawPrint and/or pet name to the box and it is such a beautiful keepsake. Nice quality and even better in person than pictures reflect.

This wooden Urn is for my son. So you can imagine how important this was to his mother and I. I read the reviews and like always there are concerns, but the package arrived on time. It was exactly how it was shown and described on Amazon. The quality was excellent and very nice to look at. The size was exactly as they said it would be. I had not issues with opening the box and I am very satisfied with this product. I actually bought another box with different de-mentions with the concerns that if this box did not work or it may not fit in the location our son's ashes will be interned or it would arrive late we would have a back up. I now have a box for whatever our life may be.

I got this for my cat who had been with me for nearly 20 years when I knew she wouldn't be with me much longer. It arrived 2 days before she passed. This well made and beautiful box was exactly what she deserved after her long life of companionship.

This is a lovely small trinket box. It would be nice also as a present for someone. It would be also handy if you wanted to put ashes in it.

Lovely cask

Lovely decorative urn for much loved canine ashes. Deserves pride of place. Nicer appearance and lower price than the plain oak standard fare. Slider holds ashes securely and makes it easy to use. Carved wood has a lovely texture. My boy would be proud of his final resting place. Bought a separate engraved plaque to go with it as a memorial.

Disappointed, as you can see from the photo it has not been stained properly.
