Bonomo Turkish Taffy Bar, Vanilla, 1.5 Ounce (Pack of 24)

The vanilla taffy tastes delicious. Reminds me when I was a kid

I purchased some bonomo taffy from local store first quality, good flavor, cracked great out freezer. This seems to be seconds, flavor right on, but it's not perfect shape, hollow at one end 3/4 of way down it's fine. Sticks to the carton it's put in. Out of the freezer, and I followed instructions on package for cracking, most of it is uneatable, it looks like powder, that's my description. I did order more because it's good, but very messy, if you crack it.

This box was excellent. I have found that this is a hit-or-miss product sometimes the consistency and flavor is off even the color. This Taffy was bright white with a very smooth consistency easy to break and left little product behind on the paper. Also the vanilla flavor was great. Unfortunately this isn't always the case. I usually buy a box every month or two and to the product seems to not be consistent. I'm considering contacting the manufacturer as to why because I really love the Taffy.

This is a favorite from my childhood and was excited to see I could order a whole box. Actually turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. They are we’re stuck to the cardboard backing and the wrapper - no easy way to get it unstuck, turned out to be a mess. If you freeze it for an hour, you can break it up and peel it off that way. Should have gotten a refund, but ended up throwing them away.

I WISHED THAT I’VE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING THESE TAFFYS, I THOUGHT BECAUSE IT WAS CANDY IT DIDN’T MATTER, I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG THESES TAFFY ARE DISCUSSING IT STICKS TOTHE FOIL EVERYTHING YOU CANT ENJOY THESE TAFFY BARS. IT’S WAS A WASTE OF MONEY AND CANDY.

Hard to open

The product had been heated and melted before received. Probably from temperatures while stored. It was to soft not like other taffy purchased. Stuck to wrapper. Tasted old

It's probably not fair for me to review this item, because I've simply outgrown it. I can say this seems to be the very same product from my youth, and I had an overwhelming urge to try it once again. You can put it in the frig, just like the old days, and slap it on a flat surface and it breaks into a bunch of bite-sized pieces, just like it used to do and should do. It tastes just like I remember it tasting, so I'd say this is the very same formula they used to have. I'm just older now, so I had my one bar, them gave the rest out for Halloween. But it's what it used to be, marvelously enough.
