Great stuff!
Brought me back to my childhood! Obviously not good for me, though, but it was exactly as I remember. Just make sure you have strong teeth, as I lost half of one immediately. Not worth the trouble for an older person like me. I gave it five stars, though, because I was five years old again until my tooth broke off! Enjoy with care! Don't chew it.

Delicious but not soft and chewy.
Ordered it immediately when I found it on Amazon. Banana brought back my memories of 50 + years ago. My only issue, and it has to be only my issue, is that it was not soft. I have no choice but to refrigerate it to enjoy it. I am reading from other customers how soft the taffy was when it arrived at their house, but I opened my box and was disappointed with the semi hardness. I will order again, hoping the next box will the soft chewy Bonomo taffy I remember. Yes, a variety pack would be wonderful.

Perfecto
6/10/2021 Update FYI, the last few years is totally different, has a paper sleeve that you can't peel off of the taffy. They ruined a good product. Bye Bye Bonomo!Excellent, just as I remembered, the taste is exactly the same, the texture, everything about this is right on. A previous comment mentioned that the candy should have a powdery coating on it but I actually remembered it as shiny so when I opened the candy I saw shiny just as I had thought it should look like. They must have had moldy candy or were thinking of bubble gum that came in baseball cards not this taffy. The vanilla and banana were my favorites and the vanilla tastes something like marshallow creme when it begins to soften. It is everything I hoped it would be and not one iota disappointed. Thank you for bringing back this favorite.

What a great treat! This is the real thing Folks
What a great treat! This is the real thing Folks! For those of you who may not remember or may not have been exposed to Bonomos Turkish Taffy this is a candy that was made for years delighting both young and old alike. I remember enjoying it as a child and even looked for it as an adult. The product is still great, and you can still give it that whack on a solid surface to break it up and share it with friends-even enemies, they will quickly become friends. Turkish Taffy comes in many flavors - all great. Try an assortment box and choose your favorite flavor. All available on AMAZON.com. And all GREAT. Bonomo's TURKISH TAFFY...real candy for real candy lovers!

Not like I remember as a kid
I was very excited to see Bonomo Turkish Taffy was back, But I am very disappointed in the product. The flavor of the banana is the same, but the texture reminds me of salt water taffy (soft). If my memory is correct (which is from about 45 - 50 years ago), this was a very dense candy that could actually break your teeth, something to really work in you mouth and lasted for a time. This new product on which the wrapper indicates is "MANUFACTURED FOR BONOMO TURKISH TAFFY,LCC" , is a sorry excuse for the taffy. I also ordered the chocolate flavor, and it basically has no chocolate flavor. Maybe my taste buds have changed and the flavor just isn't what I expected, but the texture of the taffy is nothing like I remember. If you want the old texture, I suggest trying Annabelle's "BIG HUNK" (this is actually called a nougat, but more like the taffy I remember. It contains peanuts, but the vanilla flavor is what I remember for vanilla turkish taffy, and it has the proper texture for the old fashioned turkish taffy and not like salt water (soft) taffy.I tried putting the taffy in the fridge like the wrapper indicated, and it was only firm until it was placed in mouth.. just doesn't have the right mouth feel.

Pricy
Excellent! But, pricy. I remember each bar selling for 5 cents each. They have outpaced the inflation rate.

The taste revives a cherished time...
My absolute favorite candy, from past flavors and good times. As an Army brat, I traveled a LOT, but our multiple assignments over 5 years in Massachusetts in the 50s and 60s introduced me to a marvelous array of juvenile regional taste treats. Seriously, tasting this candy after half a century of its absence... brought tears to my eyes...
