Good soling sheets
I have bought both the beige and the black, 2mm thick sheets. They are advertised as "shoe repair" soling sheets, but I use them on the "primitive", moccasin and iron age style footwear I like to make for myself. The first picture shows three years worth of "house shoe" wear, so the sheets hold up well over time and still give some traction even as the tread wears smooth. Gluing these sheets over an EVA foam midsole with Barge contact cement and E6000 glue makes for a lightweight, flexible, comfortable shoe. My only complaint is that I can only get five soles out of a sheet; it would be nice to have that little extra for one more sole...

My favorite shoes last forever!
Perfect for putting 1/2 sole on new leather shoes and leather sandals. I have been adding 2mm 1/2 soles to my leather shoes for over 20 years. My shoes last forever. Especially when my Colehanns. It is getting more different to find shoe repair shops that carry this sole sheeting. I now purchase my self and bring to shoe shop for applying to my leather shoes and sandals.

Resole worn Merrell and FiveFinger barefoot shoes
I used to use Shoe Goo and E6000, but these glues tend to wear out from temperature and heat.Decided to use a cement form of adhesion and picked up a tube of Barge TF general purpose cement in the blue tube.Make sure to use this in a well ventilated area, as the vapors are strong.I made a template outline of the worn heals of my Merrell Luna's and FiveFinger KSO Treks. Then used an Exacto hobby knife to cut out the desired pattern.I then applied a moderately thin amount to the heel area of the shoe and the cut out patch.I let them sit for about 15 minutes until the cement was slightly tacky to the touch, then slowly pressed the shoe heel and the sole together until they stuck together.I used a towel and some twine to keep the sole stuck to the heal.Waited a day to let the cement cure and took the FiveFingers on a 6.95 mile walk on asphalt and cement.Works well and hope to get more years out of these shoes.

Super robust
The rubber has a ton of grip and feels very robust. I doubt that it will wear fast, only time will tell. I used it on my DYI sole protectors and fit my shoes gteat. You can hardly notice them as they are very thin.

Using for barefoot shoes
I’ll be using these soles to make barefoot shoes for my kiddos. The material seems easy to work with so far, as I’ve only cut out the foot shape. Will update with use after the shoes are made. (:

Somewhat stiffer than expected
Good quality, but rather stiff, and hard to cut. I wanted it for moccasin soles, and it was a bit too clunky. I liked the quality of the product and ordered a thinner weight.

Cannot find glue that will work to glue this on.
Thin sturdy product. I cut them out. I cannot find glue that will glue them on my shoe. They keep coming off.
