GUM 505 Summit+Toothbrush - Soft (6 Pack)

My dentist gave me a few of these after a cleaning, and I didn't think much of it. Then I moved to a new area, and my next dentist raved about how healthy my gums are. He said he could tell I floss all the time (I'm actually a really terrible flosser). When it was time to change toothbrushes and I had run out of my freebies, I couldn't find this specific one at the supermarket or drug store, so I tried a few different ones. I hated them all! I had to order them from Amazon. This toothbrush has ruined all other toothbrushes for me. And it is surprising, seeing as how seemingly unspectacular they are.

I use the 505 toothbrush as a sulcus brush. I have a small mouth and although it is a compact head, GUM makes a slightly smaller brush that fits my mouth size a lot better, but I couldn't find that one anywhere on the Internet so it might have been discontinued. At any rate, the 505 brush has an angled handle and soft bristles that are shaped to fit under the gum line and remove any debris that is missed by either a regular toothbrush or a power toothbrush such as Oral B or Sonicare. All in all, it's a reliable and well designed toothbrush that performs as expected so I have no hesitation about recommending it.

Best toothbrush ever. I am very very very particular about toothbrushes. I have tried this version before. However I kept exploring all the other gum types of tooth brushes because in my opinion they do the best soft/floss version of toothbrushes. Other toothbrushes out there are so hard, blunt cut, rough and don't even clean your teeth hitting the gum area well. After trying out so many in bulk, this one is the best. Soft but firm at the same time. Really deep cleaning. Tmi but I brushed after eating and yea wow the things that came out.. I do floss daily but this does help as well getting in there. Very impressed I will be repurchasing forever.

This is the toothbrush my daughter got from her dentist during her last visit. She's nine years old and we have a hard time finding the right size toothbrush for her. The children's brushes are too small, and some of the adult toothbrushes are too large work well.We spent some time trying to find the same toothbrush she got from the dentist and we found it here on Amazon. The price is really affordable and we also enjoy having spares around in case she gets sick and we need to replace them.The bristles on these brushes seem to fray out, but I think that is due to the bristles being softer. I would not want her to have medium or hard bristles yet.I would recommend this product for middle aged children or those that have smaller mouths.

I've been looking for these toothbrushes ever since a friend hosting me for a weekend included one in my "guest welcome pack". They are WONDERFUL. A small head allows the brush to move actively about the mouth and reach all surfaces. The soft tapered bristles are gentle on sensitive soft tissues, but still get the teeth clean and do, as the description claims, get into the crevices. I won't be skipping the flossing, of course, but the Gum 505 does reach much more of the surfaces than the standard flat bristle toothbrush or even most other toothbrushes that claim to reach the hard-to-reach spots. The soft tapered bristles feel almost more like a sponge than a toothbrush, very gentle, but still plenty scrubby. These brushes would be ideal for caretakers who must assist elderly folks in brushing; they are almost as gentle as the sponges usually employed for that purpose. I am thrilled to have Gum 505s at last and will continue to buy them as long as they are available.

This toothbrush is really good for teeth and gums. It is very soft and gets in all the spaces and cracks. It is gentle and useful for sensitive teeth and gums. I just had a crown plus other dental work and my gums were sore and messed up. I was unable to use my regular toothbrush as it was too stiff and hard, even though it says "soft." My gums healed within a week and feel great! It makes it easier to brush, so I brush more often each day.

Though ordered nearly a year ago, I just now dipped into my toothbrush stockpile. I prefer a small head, and this brush meets that criterion. Also, having sensitive teeth, with compromised enamel, I need a soft brush. But this one is so incredibly soft that it's virtually useless! I'll be using up supply by giving to houseguests as one-time disposables. For myself, I'll order the GUM 471P Toothbrush Oral Adult Gum Micro Tip which I've liked in the past.

I need a compact head toothbrush with soft bristles and this is very similar to the one my dentist used to give away when I would go every six months. I think I know now why he stopped supplying them: they are made in China. As an adult I'll use them but I would never give this to someone, especially a child. Since I don't know anything about China's manufacturing protocols, I would very afraid to provide for someone else.
