MDS201 DVB-S2 Modulator is a high-performance modulator designed by the 2nd generation DVB standard of European satellite communication system, DVB-S2 (EN302 307). It adopts advanced technology of frame structure, channel encoding & modulation. It will bring a 50% increase in transmitting than DVB-S under the same transmission conditions. It has more powerful receiving ability under the same spectrum-efficiency condition. This device can match up with digital TV transmitter of satellite telecommunication system; it is compatible with various operation modes of DVB-S (EN300 421). Therefore, it can be widely used for broadcasting, interactive service, news gathering and other applications from satellite. Local and remote device management are supported.
