Liked the overall features of the phone; the large numbers, as well as speaker button feature, auto dial buttons, and redial button. This item was purchased for use by a friend in a retirement community. She has trouble dialing and seeing the buttons, so this turned out to be the perfect phone for her. The only drawback to this phone is the speaker is under the phone receiver, which means you have to speak directly into the speaker when the receiver is down, and it is harder for her to hear the person she is talking to. That's why the 4 out of 5 rating. Great product!

this is perfect for those with hearing issues. the volume of the ringer and handset can be increased. perfect for my dad whose hearing was effected after many years working in a slate quarry.

Not as loud as expected, a regular phone is same sound level …disappointing

Everything on this phone is just right. I got it for someone who can not read or see well. The auto dial buttons were easy to program and was able to print icon size pics for the 2 auto dial buttons.. The ringer is loud if you want it to be LOUD. I recommend this phone.

My mom needed this pretty bad, her hearing is almost gone and she struggles with phones and has zero confidence to make her own calls and I generally do it for her but I'm hearing impaired too so it isn't real fund for me either but this has a louder volume and the important part is that it is louder AND clear. Sometimes louder also means harder to understand too if you are hearing impaired and this one is clear enough that louder is not distorted or hard to understand. Great phone.This item is good quality and it is very much worth the purchase. It arrived in good condition and I have found no flaws with the product and I fully recommend it. This JEKAVIS J-P45 AMPLIFIED PHONE FOR SENIORS (with Big Button & Loud Speaker) is definitely louder (on the high setting) than my Panasonic Caller ID desk phone. It has big buttons (very nice for seniors with low vision), a speakerphone, and some number storage capability.However, the J-P45 phone does NOT have Caller ID, which is kind of a dealbreaker. You can add Caller ID with this excellent  Panasonic Call Blocker , which also helps get rid of robocalls. Alternatively, you can purchase this  JeKaVis J-P47 Landline Phone  which appears to have Caller ID, as well as other desirable features. (I haven’t personally tested the J-P47 phone.)The volumes for the j-P45 speaker and handset are controlled by switches on the side of the phone. The volume settings are limited to Off, Low, and High.

Out of the box, this JeKaVis J-P45 Amplified Phones for Seniors with Big Button & Loud Speaker is a great solution for seniors seeking a simple to use landline. It's pretty limited in its functionality and can be a bit confusing for an older person to assemble and program. It doesn't have caller ID functionality. This being said, the large size numbers are great and the sound quality is very good. If you're just looking for a basic landline for incoming calls for a senior citizen, this is a good option. We are using ours on a table and have not tried hanging it on the wall, but the product does offer that functionality.

Garbage! Doesn’t work! New out of the box and doesn’t work at all! What a waste of time. I will be sending this back!
