DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you look at my picture, that is what I am stuck with here. None of the good reasons I bought these actually work.Stick doesn’t work,Controls don’t work, none of 4 work accurately. The buttons they show that look so nice don’t actually do anything. Two of the strips stay on all the time, with very low light that I can’t control, I have to unplug it to turn off two lower lights. I just put them up and one has no stick, the other 3 are starting to come off at end. Knowing this was coming I invested in succulents, I knew they needed more light than my windows could provide. On my disability SSI I just wasted a lot of money on plants and lights to keep them alive. The connections to the strips are bad & very sensitive, if it moves at all the entire strip will turn off. I buy most things from amazon, I never have quality issues, this is the BIGGEST DISSAPPOINTMENT I have had. Very sad & very mad that they aren’t working when my favorite plants NEED the light!!!!!

Timers are wrong, adhesive leaves much to be desired
I bought two of these to supplement light in window shelves. The timer is off on both of them; one is fast and one is slow. I set them from 7 AM to 7 PM, and a week later one starts at 6:30 AM and the other starts at 7:30 AM. It would be less annoying if they were at least consistent. The adhesive is okay, but doesn't withstand the weight of the cords very well. They're not being stretched or pulled by anything other than gravity. I had to put clear packing tape on the cord end to keep it up, and that's worked for me, but it might not for others.Redeeming qualities of these lights are clear instructions (even if the grammar is a little weird, whoever wrote them is not a native English speaker), bright lights, and the strips are long but it's clearly marked where they can be cut and made shorter. Not sure if I'd buy again due to the timer issues.

Kinda Disappointed. Has Some Flaws
I ordered these light strips to help sprout some vegetable seeds and just be general indoor plant grow lights, mainly for some herbs and house plants.Good Points First. The timer functions worked, it was easy to turn on and setup, and it worked as auto on/auto off. There is what I would call a generous amount of cable between the 4 strips, so you could have about 12 inches between each strip (was using 1 light per level on a very thin shelf)And that's about it ... on to the Bad.The WORST problem by far: They just didn't stick to anything. The adhesive side did not want to stick to metal, plastic, wood, or really anything, in the end we were trying to use clear packing tape to hold the light strips on. We tried multiple surfaces, and it would SEEM like they would get a really good bond, but then we'd walk by 6 hours later and some part of the strip would have become unattached and laying directly on the leaves. The timer is directly attached to the 4 LED strips via cables which give you about 12 inches to arrange the lights where you would want them, and the Power Cord plugs into the timer using a barrel plug (similar to how you would plug in most laptop computer) Except the fit on this plug is horrible. It kept unplugging itself if you the attachment was vertical, or even any angle approaching vertical from about 45 degrees off. We ended up having to zip tie the power cord and the timer connection pretty much to the leg of the shelving unit right next to each other so they wouldn't unplug themselves. The lights work, and we got some seeds to sprout under them, and plants seemed to like them (over the course of 2 weeks we had several plants "lean towards" the strips.) We had plants between 2 inches to 10 inches away from the lights, so its not like we were using them from super far away.Let's be fair, they're not strong enough for separate shelves. You need to use AT LEAST 2 of the lights, if not all 4 strips to get the raw light output a plant will want.I believe I was expecting too much out of these lights, and a good portion of my disappointment is from that. But the strips didn't stick to anything, kept peeling off any surface we tried to stick them after a couple of hours. I feel like I spent most of the two weeks we used these trying to find some way to rig them to stay attached to surfaces. We've since switched to using six 4ft. LED Shop Lights at 6400K and 2200 Lumens. If i could get these strips to actually STAY on something, I'd probably still be using them 1 per shelf, just to give that extra red and blue spectrum light to the plants. But I can't .. believe me, I feel like I've tried just about everything.

Already have plants growing
We got these to put with our small greenhouse to start our garden plants. We already have flowers and veggies started to sprout. The kids love watching it.2 issues...1) the sticky backing is not wanting to hold onto our greenhouse, so we have used auto grade wire ties to hold them up.2) The timer goes from 3 hours to 9 hours. Many of the plans we have started growing (and most on the shelf) say 6-8 hours of sunlight. The extra hour doesn't seem to harm them, but maybe it should go from 3 to 8 to 12 hours instead.Just food for thought. Love the product otherwise!

Good for seedlings but a bit short
These have some nice features. Dimmable light. Timer.Unfortunately, the cords between the first and last strips are just a little bit too short. This could easily be fixed by the manufacturer by adding a few inches to the cord length to help it better fit in indoor greenhouses (which must be a common use for this sort of thing).

I have brighter flashlights
I was perplexed when it arrived on a 5x5x2 inch box, as I was not expecting the four strips to have no rigidity whatsoever. They're like single sided tape, sticky on one side and LEDs on the other, with all four strips attatched to a four way splitter that connects to the wire plugged into the wall. They're so much less bright than my other lights that I'm sending them back. The sticky side, from what I could tell, isn't sticky enough to withstand greenhouse humidity. My seedlings are going to be stressed until the second set of my previous purchase arrives.

Keeps plants alive, not much else...stretches succulents
My echeveria stretched out and got super leggy under these lights. Too much red light, not enough blue, I think. I live in an apartment where I get almost NO sun from the windows unfortunately, so I've had to depend on grow lights to keep my plants alive. These work okay, and I do like the timer, it's automatic for a few days after setting it once...but I do not like what it did to my succulents... They stretched out really bad.

Great lights
So far these work great. I love the option to just have 2 of the 4 lights on. I attached them to PVC pipes in my little indoor greenhouse. Right now I am starting seeds on the two bottom shelves ontop of heat mats and once the seedlings sprout move them to the upper two shelves underneath the lights.
