Great for Azul fans!
Fun twist on the original Azul! Set-up was quick and easy. Learning curve was minimal since we already knew how to play the original Azul. Was different enough from the original Azul that it felt like we were playing a new game. Enjoyed the introduction of the wild tile, carrying over up to 4 tiles each round, having the ability to gain extra tiles for completing different structures on your own player board, and the built in "timer" of only having 6 rounds (this kept the game moving along but without making it feel rushed). Game play was around 30 minutes. Lots of additional points that you can score at the end of the game with completing different goals.Wish that the player boards would have had their own score track like in the original Azul. The communal score board felt cramped when we played with 4 players

Family Game Fun
This is such a fun game which combines skills such as figuring out puzzles and planning several steps in advance what move to make. Playing the game lasts between 30-45 minutes long.

A Must Have Game
If you have played the original Azul. You will love this one. I got it on sale and it was much cheaper than in stores. The quality of all pieces was fantastic. Super fun to play and easy to understand when you use strategy.

3rd iteration of Azul still a good game
My whole family really liked the first Azul. I bought this one after hearing some reviewers positive opinions. My husband and I enjoy it. Seems to be critical to take from the center early so as not take a whole bunch of negative points... At least in a two player game. Look forward to showing it to the rest of my family. The components are unsurprisingly very nice and reflect the price appropriately. My only gripes are that the score board and the player markers are not sized well and is made of a thinner ply board. When I get to play a 4 player game there won't be space for 4 markers on one point value. It can be followed along the outer edge. The thinner ply board really only effects my obsessive sensibilities. The tower that you are meant to store used tiles in is made of this same thin ply board. It does seem, thus far, to be holding up very well. The nice linen bag, pretty tiles, and high quality player boards are there as per usual with the Azul line.

Wonderful drafting/puzzle game.
Azul is an excellent game series, and it is my opinion that Summer Pavilion (which is the third in the series) is the best. You do not need the previous games at all, as they are not sequels, but each a standalone game. And you also do not need to just get one either, as they are different enough to each get to the table. The game is easy to learn and begin playing. It is fast placed, and thinky in all the right ways. My wife and I are full time RVers, and this game is on our table a lot. It is my wife's favorite game right now as well as one of mine. And we usually play 2-3 games at a time when we play. The quality of the components are excellent. The game moves between a drafting game, and then a puzzle game, in recurring phases. There is a little take-that in how you draft, and yet not nearly enough to break up a marriage. :)This is a game that will remain in our rotation. We just love it, and highly recommend it to others.

Great strategy game!
We have and play the original Azul, which we enjoy, but the Summer Pavilion version of the game involves more strategy and is more fun. The addition of a wild card color each round adds to the strategy. Helps to have someone who knows how to play teach others, but easy to get the hang of it.

One of the more relaxing games I own
I don’t think this game is for everyone but if you like board games and enjoy a game you don’t have to think too much to play this is a very nice and relaxing game. You can even have a movie on and play the game as long as you and the other player(s) know the rules it’s very smooth.

So Much Fun!
My Family is a huge fan of Family Game Time and of the Azul Games. This one is a good twist from the original and we have really enjoyed it. I will mention that watching you tube videos on how to play is much easier than reading the directions. Another great game to add to our collection!
