I like that it is organic and convenient, but my wife stated it has the worst taste as it was for her. She will not buy it again or cannot recommend it.

I thought this was going to solve all of my black avocado problems, specifically trying to make guacamole and avocado toast. Boy was I wrong. I followed the directions to the letter, and the texture is not anything like real avocados. I could see using this in a smoothie where you don’t care for it to come out like avocados, but as an avocado substitute… Steer clear. The flavor is absolutely horrible. It tastes like someone took an avocado, burned it, then mixed it with way too much lemon zest, yes the zest because it comes out grainy. My advice is avoid this at all costs. If you have trouble getting real avocados that aren’t damaged, then look for frozen avocado chunks. I get mine from Whole Foods. I will never buy this again, it was a complete waste of money.

My child is exclusively tube fed, and is on a strict low-protein medical diet. I have long advocated for her diet to consist of healthy, whole foods and this product helps to achieve that goal. This is simply dried avocados, so it retains all the healthy fats, fiber, and nutrition of the original fruit, yet it is in a convenient, easy to use powdered form. I just weigh it to measure out exact amounts and add it to her blended formula each day. It has a pleasant citrus aroma similar to lime flavored tortilla chips due to the fact that they add lemon juice to keep it fresh and not chemical preservatives (I love that!). Plain avocados by nature taste quite bland, and this is still just plain avocados with a hint of lemon. I do not find the flavor off-putting as other reviewers have stated and I would imagine that it is not meant to be eaten by itself, but mixed with spices and other fruits or vegetables. It has been an excellent addition to my child's foods and I am very happy to have found this product.

The powder is easy to use in blender. Mix well with other powder. Less expensive than buying fresh fruit.

People are scoffing at "freeze dried", This isn't freeze dried. It is low temp dried.OK, so this isn't quite for me, but it isnt "bad". It's just avocado and lemon. Depending on what you are hoping to use it for, your expectation may be met or may fall short. Direct from bag, it is gritty with a mix of yellow and dark green. Do a 1:1 ratio of water and avocado powder. Well, actually it is granular, not at all powder like. Stir for a couple of minutes. I even let it sit. Remained gritty. Maybe a small mixer would help. The grit is going to be the turn off factor for a lot of people who want to use this beyond smoothies.Taste is OK. Very mild avocado taste with hint of lemon. Kinda would prefer no lemon. I think that makes this taste off, especially depending on what it is being use in. Fine if using it in smoothies. Texture is probably best for smoothies, but I was hoping to use it as a topper for toast or coconut basmati rice.I am finding that avocados in store have been sub par. I dont know.. was just hoping for something better here. No bad, but not what I want.Again, I think it is fine for the nutrition and use it in smoothies. Can try it in other applications, just know that it wont quite make the same results. Because of the GRIT.I dont think it is gross; I am not that dramatic. I'll use it up, but it likely wont be a repurchase. I will look for dehydrated or freeze dried avocado powder that can be reconstituted into a non gritty paste.If this was smooth, and had less of a lemon taste (I love lemon by the way), I would like it more. This could be a wonderful product, but the quality is just not there yet. There are pieces of skin mixed in the powder, and Hass avocado skins have a very bitter taste. This should have been addressed before putting this product out on the market. After tasting this powder, I doubt I will ever buy any freeze-dried avocado product. This is disappointing because I really would have enjoyed having the ability to store avocados on the shelf. Perhaps this product should be pulled before you get too many more bad reviews, and the quality with taste should be addressed. I tried, but I just could not continue to eat it.

This is absolutely the best product! I have a blended salt business and added it to a new salt blend with amazing success. The color and aroma is so brilliant. The taste is as natural as eating a fresh avocado. It blends beautifully ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
