This stuff is absolutely amazing! Over the years I’ve used many different chrome cleaners / polishes and none have worked this well. In fact, up to this point I thought all chrome polishes were pretty much the same. Outside of the manufactures hype, the only thing that seemed to separate them was the color (shades of blue seem popular) and whether they were liquid or paste.The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar of Chrome-Glo was the color and consistency. Chrome-Glo is industrial gray in color and has a very thick paste consistency, thicker than any other chrome polish I have used. The next thing that struck me, after rubbing a bit between my fingers, was its gritty consistency. It seems as this would actually scratch the chrome, but according to their web site, what I was feeling was pumice that immediately breaks down to a very fine polishing powder upon application. They also make a finer consistency polish that is better suited for final polishing and touch up of new chrome. Unlike many other competing products, Chrome-Glo is water based and non-toxic. If you accidentally leave the jar uncovered and it dries out, just add a touch of water and it’s as good as new.My first test was on a 35 year old chrome wheel rim from a Triumph motorcycle I’m restoring. Originally the rim has some surface rust and slight pitting. I had previously removed as much rust as possible using 0000 steel wool, as well as aluminum foil and water (an old restorers trick). A big name chrome polish followed this. There were still a few areas that weren’t perfect, but short of re-chroming, I figured this was as good as it would get.I took a white rag, applied a small amount of Chrome-Glo (I really like the fact that it’s thick and doesn’t run) and applied it as per the instructions. I’m not sure what I expected, but I can tell you I was absolutely amazed when I pulled the rag away and saw it full of rust residue! Even more amazing was how great the wheel looked! This was in spite of the fact that I had previously gone over the wheel with steel wool, aluminum foil and another chrome polish!This stuff worked so well that polishing became fun! I started to look for rusty chrome just so I could polish it. Everything from rusty chrome exhaust tips, to vintage handlebars. Chrome I had once given up on now looks great!As good as Chrome-Glo is, it can’t replace missing chrome. If you have a large area of rust where the chrome has flaked away, it will still remove the rust, but you will be left with the base metal. In most cases, this is still much better looking than rust! Fortunately, I found that the majority of rust I’ve encountered in my garage is surface or light pitting. On these types of surfaces the result is almost like magic and the full shine is restored.I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea! This stuff is amazing!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this product as well as the company who was so proactive as I needed this by a certain time and it wasn’t delivered as it was supposed to be so they reimbursed me which said volumes about their guarantee of not only their product but of their word based on the time factor. Now that I have the product although I wasn’t able to take the bike ride I had signed up for then , this product literally makes up for it ten times fold for all the things I will be able to use it for in years to come. Because of their quick action and this product really being the most incredible ever I will continue to buy this forever !I’ve been trying to rearrange my house and my bike was getting in the way so I left it outside for a few days and immediately it rusted up in so many different places because of course Florida with rain and humidity I was Devastated, I researched on Amazon , between so many different products for Ross and bought this because of the reviews .I cannot believe what this product has done my bike is on the way to looking brand spanking new I had to actually stop in the middle to write this review because I am so taken aback by how amazing it has worked. I know I probably should’ve taken pictures but I was just too excited I wanted to get this up there because if anybody is looking for this moment I want you to know that you finally found something that actually will work it is absolutely a miracle!Annoying my bike was only outside for a couple days I wanted to try this on something that has been rested for years now without my grill has a cover every now and then unfortunately is not covered and has had rust on it in certain places for a very long time that I kept meaning to buy something for when I’m talking embedded , it’s been there for a very long time, this took a little bit more scrubbing on the bike but Wawa again America the little heart are scrubbing and some time still works on even in the hardest toughest rust! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. I originally bought this product to restore a 1963 Schwinn that has a lot of chrome and aluminum parts. the product works good on the chrome but I do have another product that would work or shine the parts a little better. However, this will shine chrome well and take off small pitting spots. It is not a miracle worker product, so if you have heavy rusted parts this just won't take it away and leave your part perfect and shiny chrome, but no product will do that either. I like the fact it has waxed built in so when I do buff the chrome, I hope it will keep it protected from the small pitted areas showing back up again.I did use this on my chrome nerf bars after I washed the truck and it shined them very well and also removed any hard water spots or crud I missed washing. I definitely recommend this product. I do like this better than Never-dull.
